“Post 41 certainly lives up to it's claim to be "The Friendliest Post in Maryland." It is run and frequented by friendly, down-to-earth people who enjoy seeing each other over good, affordable food and drinks. The Post hosts live music on weekends and does a lot of good in the community, sponsoring Cub Scouts, baseball teams, etc. It's not the busiest or flashiest place in downtown Silver Spring, but definitely a hidden gem.”

“I was there to Officiate a wedding. Nick the Clubhouse Manager was very hospitable, professional and helpful. Nice size venue and I was told they have space to rent downstairs as well. Great drinks. Clean establishment and parking was available. I hope to be back to Officiate”

“Called here to find someone to teach me and my fiancé some waltz-y moves for our first dance at our upcoming wedding, and I'm so glad I did. We worked with Debora for many sessions and it was so worth it!!! She is incredibly knowledgeable and such a pleasure to be around. Great vibes. Would recommend if you're looking for private first wedding dance lessons.”

“This place has improved over the years. Looks like they are redoing some green surrounds and bunkers soon too. I heard rumors they are redoing their fairways next year as well. Affordable memberships considering the area. I have friends who have been members for years and still enjoy it. The golf course is really solid. They have a great mixture of holes. A couple of drivable par 4s and all the par 5s are reachable from certain tees. Two tough par 3s on the back that can make or break a round. Green surrounds are tough if you're in the wrong spot. The greens themselves are always in fantastic shape. They are severely sloped at times, so you must be accurate with your approach shots. I couldn't find the golf course architect on their website, but they did a good job considering the hilly topography and small footprint of the property. But I can also see one hitting pretty much the exact same shots every time no matter what tee box you're playing. Favorite hole: Par 5 12th, except for the yellow range balls that litter the left side. Downhill the entire way. Range on the left, trees and then the 18th hole on the right. Reachable for many with usually a blind-ish to a peninsula green with water right and long. The very tall red stake frames the front right of the green. Very cool hole before the brutally tough par 3 13th. The driving range is good and they have really nice Titleist practice balls to hit. The short game area is outstanding. I could spend hours out there with a few wedges. They have two small-ish putting greens on either side of the clubhouse. The restaurant is a great space and they have an area for bigger events. The food and service are both good too. Sadly, I have not enjoyed the pool area. Just a solid club overall. The members I have interacted with have all been great. I have had and heard somewhat mixed interactions with the people that run the place, but nothing bad enough to write about here.”

“Just had my wedding here this weekend and everything went great with the venue! They're super responsive and flexible, and the rates are great for such a big space in the DC area.Attached some photos of the space by our wonderful wedding photographer Daniela Zapata.”

“Nice, small venue for intimate theater and cultural shows. Seats about 150 people in gallery style seating but comfortable chairs. Adequate stage lighting. Only downside are the toilets. Shared unisex facilities with stalls and urinals which might be difficult for some folks.”

“At this point, I/O Spaces has become a staple of the Silver Spring community. It is a unique, flexible, creative and collaborative event space. If you can think of a concept, or a function, the I/O spaces team is willing to work with you to pull it off successfully. Over the years, I have seen entrepreneurs--from artists, designers, vendors, photographers, and even students--utilize the space for a myriad of functions. While Silver Spring is already diverse, having a unique hub to showcase, incubate, encourage, network, and promote communities, (most especially diverse immigrant ones) is a necessity one didn't think Silver Spring needed until you see I/O Spaces. I highly recommend.”
