Been here a couple times. Reasonable prices, quick service. They fixed an extra issue I didn’t know I had for free. The other day I brought my car in and asked if I could get a new tire on by 2PM, and they got it done. Would recommend

Without a doubt, TOTAS is the best mechanic around. I've been a loyal customer for almost six years. Recently, I bought a used car that had just passed the MD inspection. To be extra cautious, I took it to a nearby mechanic for a full inspection. After waiting four days for the appointment, they told me I needed to replace six major parts, costing $5,000. Shocked and skeptical, I immediately drove to TOTAS for a second opinion.
TOTAS took my car in right away and conducted a thorough inspection within a few hours. They provided me with a comprehensive report, assuring me that everything was in working order and up to inspection standards. Not only that, but they also noticed my new license plate on the dashboard and offered to install it for free! Despite my offer to pay, they refused any compensation for their time and the initial inspection.
I can't recommend TOTAS enough for their honesty, exceptional customer service, fair prices, technical expertise, and quick turnaround time.

I took my car to TOTAS to diagnose a problem. Turned out to be basically nothing and they didn't charge me anything! I also just took my car for an oil change. They were able to take it immediately and it was about $25 less than another local garage I've been going to. They are also very friendly!

This is the only place I take my car. Great service, quick turnaround, reasonable costs, and (most importantly) honest staff. They will check your car and if something doesn't need fixing, they wont upsell you. I can see why they always have so much business. There is always a full lot of cars to be serviced, yet they always can fit me in if I'm flexible. I would keep coming here even if I moved to Richmond.
