Angela Lombardo from the leasing department is very accommodating and responds promptly to our inquiries. On a moving day, the apartment that we reserved turned out to be unavailable due to a plumbing issue. However, the alternative unit that she offered is better and newly renovated with the same monthly rate, which is a good deal. In addition, it is near the main gate and the maintenance and security are easy to reach any time of the day.

Living here has been a disaster. I've dealt with **robberies, rats, cockroaches**, and **neighbors who smell terrible**. The **elevators are constantly broken**, and the worst part is the management. Despite my repeated Juanita in administration does nothing—she just laughs in your face. This place isn’t worth it. Don't be fooled by the low price—it's not worth the trouble.
And next and below the admin comment (pffff), when you contact the the admin office, they never respond or only reply with lies. Please never move here !

This place was affordable, but you genuinely get what you pay for. I lived here for a year and am so happy to be done with this place. ROACH AND MICE INFESTATIONS. Mold grew in the bathroom almost instantly, that I watched maintenance just paint over. Little to no security, left my apartment once to a random man asleep in the middle of the hallway. The front door that was supposed to require fob access, was constantly broken. Door was open to the public at ALL times. Stupid parking requirements, they towed my vehicle and threatened towing on multiple occasions for multiple reasons, despite submitting an application that was never filed. Which just showed the rude and incompetent building management. They tried to scam my roommate and I out of our security deposit by putting us and our guarantors on the check. PLEASE, unless in dire situations DON'T MOVE HERE!!!!!!

Gym is ok.
Pool is ok but lifeguards smoke on job and people blast (profane) music and my kids have to be careful due to people playing football in pool and knocking them under. They no longer allow kids to have floaties either.
We have had mice.
Ac barely works. We've had maintenance here many times and it's still at 80+ but set at 60.
Packages will get stolen. They won't care or help you. I've given up on ordering things to myself.
The whole place smells like an ashtray. You will get a contact high walking though the hallways or elevator. Trash is always piled up around the dumpsters.
For the price they charge they should do a lot better.

I lived here for 2 years and my experience was, at best, mixed. I had numerous instances where the apartment suffered leaks and one of those occurrences took months to repair. Often management was not giving adequate advanced notice on inspections or repairs (when they would need to enter my apartment). There was one time near an inspection period where they were having contracted maintenance people enter tenant apartments completely unannounced. The contractors felt bad when I happened to get home to let them in, rather than have them enter. I owned a dog and this constant shifting of people in and out of my apartment over essentially the whole 2 year period caused us both a great deal of stress that would have been mitigated by better communication. They often do this thing where they announce a weeklong period where "they may enter your apartment" (paraphrased). All of the buildings are older, and while it is somewhat cheaper than surrounding complexes, I would not recommend this place. The support staff are generally very nice, but management there was hardly ever accommodating despite extenuating circumstances.

Cool buildings have a vast parking area. A very good place to have an apartment.

The location is great. But not the service. The AC units are not working. No matter which floor do u chose to live the house are full of mice and insects. When you put request the person will show do some treatment and then disappear no permanent solution. Sometimes when u put so many request they do not show up at all. If you call one time and complain next time ur number is blocked. The service on the early years, when I rent was great but it is getting worse every year. This year my house is hot like oven I put so many request the only answer was the whole building AC units are not working. I bought 3 fun but it is only circulating hot air and I am paying high electricity bill. Also, power outage. It is been hours we have no electricity and no one to ask. I called the emergency number once he said it is not us and hang up.

Just by the outside, you can tell this apartment is a fire-pit. I've seen many robberies, attacks, and SHOOTINGs on the news? The garden leveled apartments are not maintained, they are filthy and smell. Corridors look like an absolute hospital hallway. I do not recommend anyone this complex, unless you need an affordable go to.

When we first moved in, everything was great, but fast forward to now, they've been becoming increasingly annoying with these unnesescary increase in fees, random room inspections, and utility bill increases that makes things harder on us because we're trying to move out to a new apartment.
They're also not Deaf friendly. My roommate and I are Deaf and we've been trying to call for help with registering pets and preventing late fees, but they're unwilling to work with us at all and they get annoyed with us like we're retarded or something when we just need better guidance. This is our first apartment after moving out of an abusive home, and they don't even have the empathy to understand or hear that.
Dear Hills, STOP with these stupid utility fees and stupid processing fees that doesn't even go towards rent. $9 just to pay off a $2,600 rent? Be for real. You're only making it difficult for residents trying to get by. You KNOW it's unnecessary, its just greed at this point. I don't know how you guys got here, but it's pissing me and my roommate off and causing us mental distress that we don't really deserve. We're literally considering moving out and not obliging to the 30-60 day rule because if you can put that kind of burden on us without care then honestly, screw you.

Loved living here a few back and considered coming back with my man’s and kid because of the Great amount of space and amenities. Maintenance crew and property staff are mostly well. There’s one lady in the leasing office when you walk right in who wasn’t too willing to get up and your me and my man to the gym. She told us the golf cart wasn’t working and she didn’t walk us down there. She said we can walk down there but not get in.

Although there are problems with Summit Hills in general, i.e. mice, limited washer/dryers, and problematic neighbors, Stephanie for 1703 and 1705 does her best to remedy any problem. She is quick in her delivery and has often followed up with me about issues - very appreciated. She is also one of the most empathetic and friendly managers in my renting experience. Way to go, Stephanie!
