Selio and his brother are always on point. They are friendly and take care of your vehicle promptly everytime. I would highly recommend them to anyone. Over the years I have gone to them for everything from routine maintenance, major repairs and knowledgeable answers. They have been able to help me with every vehicle problem I have encountered.

I called about getting new tires and they got me in that day! As soon as I pulled up they had me pull into the dock so they didn’t have to touch the inside of my car. Staff was wearing masks and gloves and the waiting area was clean! They even had the doors open to allow airflow. The gentleman who helped me was very professional and answered all of my questions, sometimes before I even asked! I highly recommend Speed Auto for your cars needs!

Selio and his brother are one of the most honest mechanics you can find. They are friendly and take care of your car. I would highly recommend them to anyone.Over the years I have gone to him for everything from routeen oil changes to replacing car computers that were not functioning properly. They have helped me with a Ford as well as a Subaru.

I went here because their website says they do Maryland State Inspections (not true anymore) and that appointments are not needed (also not true). What a waste of my time! The guy at the counter says the website is out of date and the guy who made it doesn't have the password. What a lame excuse!

I was told by my mechanic that my 6-cylinder car needed a tune-up since it appeared to be misfiring and running rough. Because the engine light had not come on, my mechanic indicated that he might have to replace all six spark plugs and coils since he didn't know which ones were defective. The cost quoted for the work was $2400. To get a second opinion, I took the car to Speed Auto, who quoted me a much lower price (less than half) to do the same work. After replacing all the coils and plugs. one of the mechanics test drove the vehicle and realized that there was no change in the performance of the car, suggesting that the problem was not associated with a simple tune-up, but perhaps a transmission problem. When I came to pick up my car, Speed Auto told me that they had removed the coils, but left he new plugs in the car. They indicated that leaving the coils in the car, which, again, were not needed, would have been an unnecessary expense and, thus, removed them to save me money (they did not charge me for the installed spark plugs). They also did not charge me for all of the labor and time spent in performing these services, which I felt was very generous and honest on their part since they hadn't corrected the problem and didn't feel justified in charging me for a misdiagnosis. The bottom line is that Speed Auto provides auto mechanic service that is far less expensive than most other auto repair shops in the area, in addition to the fact that they are extremely honest and do not try to rip off their customers financially. Cudos to Speed Auto, who I would definitely use again for any kind of auto service.
