Jackie at the Silver Spring location is the best! She was knowledgeable & communicative. She helped us get something at another location that they were temporarily out of stock of at our usual store. She also helped us with another issue we had. Smoke island has been consistently good but this was a more complex situation & it was easily resolved. Definitely recommend this shop!

10 out of 5 stars, the vibe is so relaxed and calming, and the staff are incredible. They somehow make you feel like you’re already friends even if it’s your first time at the shop. One of the employees literally helped me out with a quick car problem. All of them were so ready to pitch in and figure out how to help me while also taking care of the shop. This is the place to go

Not this location (Bethesda) - sells bunk products and only gives you 24 hours to bring it back (not that they tell you this when you purchase). My torch stopped working within a week and they refused to take it back with original packaging and receipt. Awful awful service. Go elsewhere

Fake disposable and they rejected to replace it , she said she want to speak to the manager instead of just replacing it, i know it is not their fault to get fake stuff from the distributor but its their fault not to exchange it , the problem is am a weekly customer and never had to return anything .will not go back again

I usually love going to this store. Lately, there's been an increase in new faces. The face I encountered today, needs a little reminding that service is utmost, kindness goes a long way and customers are no longer obligated to confront rude behavior to your face, they have the means to let everyone know about your poor attitude and advise other customers to find alternatives.When I walked in, she was wrapping up with another customer. She was extremely pleasant with him and when she first greeted me. After he walked out with his purchase, I proceed to make 4 selections of pre-packaged goods, from the case -- and then realized that I should have selected something else. So, I immediately apologized and asked her to replace 2 of the 4 selections with another more cost-conscious selection. Her attitude, immediately, shifted.She stiffened, as if I just called her out of her name, and proceeds to not speak a single word, as she makes the replacement. Now, anyone who has visited this location knows, there's usually a jovial or amiable conversation going, while the attendant works with you. Her demeanor made me uncomfortable, so much so, that I apologized, again. You would've thought I was already at the register, asking her to correct an input, which I know causes a lag when servicing others; but, lo and behold, I was the only customer left in the store. She still said not one word of acknowlegement, after the second apology, as if I was coming to steal and not pay for the items I asked her to exchange.I should have been that rude a** customer that asked her, "Is there a problem?" And then proceed to leave everything, to go to one of the other numerous Smoke Island locations all along Georgia Ave; now, she would've had a reason to display the level of disrespect she did - by not uttering a single word and sashaying herself away from the register without a word of "goodbye" or "come back again", that this team does so well, and makes you want to come back.My advice to management - train her or get rid of her. She's going cost you money and repeat customers.

There is a girl in there who is the best! I recently was out of town and told her how I had a hard time getting the right coils. She went above and beyond to make sure I had the proper coil. Even took my old coil out (got juice on her hands) and was just so chill and helpful. Rarely get customer service like her anymore so I was compelled to write this review. Monday, Sept. 5 around 2:40
