I had a pair of boots that had a pocket of air in the sole and it just needed a new bottom sole something that takes other stores a few minutes instead the owner quoated me 2 days but when i came the second day he hadnt even started and said it will take 3 days and charged me 35 dollars I picked up the shoes, after having him try to charge me again i realized there was glue everywhere even on other parts of the shoe which I had to scrape off. This place is a waste of time and money you can go to other places that are cheaper yet better. I really did want to like these place but oh well.

Watch out for this guy.... he'll rip you off if he can. I brought a leather belt for him to punch four holes. The work was very sloppy. The holes he punched were not evenly measured and did not match the holes the belt came with. For that, and for a cheap shoehorn, he charged $50. That's $50 for a shoehorn and to punch four holes in a belt!

Mr. Silva took a pair of boots that I loved, and saved them from being thrown away. They were totally rejuvenated and I'm back to wearing them everyday.

My 14" Frye boots needed suitable soles and heels for motorcycling. Silva's put Vibram oil-resistant soles and heels on them in less than a week, and for a reasonable price. They also polished the boots. Their work is first-rate and fairly priced. The shop is a neighborhood gem!

When my daughter and I were at the hair salon next door the zipper on her coat wouldn’t zip down all the way. I took it next door and he fixed it immediately. He refused to let me pay wishing me Felix Navidad! (I still left something in the counter to express my gratitude). Great place! Great guy! I’ll be back

They did a great job replacing the soles of my red Tod's. It is a bit pricey but if you want it to be done properly, it's worth it to. It did take a week to get the job completed, that's why it's 4 stars. Otherwise it would've been 5.

My leather heels needed to have the heel glued back down. When I went to pickup the shoes, the glue was visible all of the heels. I asked to have that fixed. Came back the next day and there were chunks of leather missing from the heel where the dried glue was scraped off. Not only did I lose my money but I lost my shoes. And not an ounce of remorse!

Called and asked if I brought my heels in for the cap to be replaced how long would it be. I was advised same day. I waste my time coming to the repair shop to be told 2 days.

I took a pair of heels in to get the tips fixed. My shoes were ready the next day after without complication and they did a great job with the repair. They trimmed all the material around the tip and put new tips. I'll definitely go back!
