“We had dinner at this place last night for Valentine's day. The burgers were special. It was my 1st time eating burgers with that taste. I'm not sure if it was just for the day. I will visit again. I didn't like that scan order asking for phone number, email, and all of that while dining in.”

“Love TJMaxx. Redoing the interior of this location. Fun place to go too never know what you'll find next. Wish they carried more high end hair and skin care, even clothes. Back in the day the Maxx was the place for beorgeois brands, Italian products, changed a lot since then. But still a great place to shop. Staff is ok.”

“A great little shopping center between the Beltway and Burnt Mills on Colesville Road & University Ave in Silver Spring. There’s a wonderful bakery, great nail salon, dry cleaning, Starbucks, CVS, Italian Deli, Quick Grocery store that has an extensive wine selection, a Watch store & repair shop & a jewelry store- all right there!! Parking in front or out back!”

“I love this grocery store. They sell a lot of healthy foods that I can't get at grocery stores closer to me. I usually buy Asian and West Indian foods from here.”

“Aspen Hill Shopping Center is the place to be if you're looking for a fast food chain. McDonalds, Chipotle, Panera, Wingstop, Tropical Smoothie, Sarku. It even has a Chinese and Mexican restaurant.”

“I give the Shoppes a four star because it has a Trader Joe's here, but this small shopping center right off of busy Colesville Road can be unpleasant to get in and out of because it's generally so, so busy. If you're shopping at T.J.'s, come early in the morning at or right after opening time on a Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday. Note: you can drive and find parking behind some of the businesses if you want to avoid the general melee of the front parking lot. I like to park on the side of T.J.'s when I come- some shade here, too.”

“Nice local shopping center. Especially love the number of locally owned restaurants featuring a variety of world culture cuisine.

However, the deserted Sears store ought to be torn down or renovated and occupied.”

“Great place to thrift. Unfortunately, the prices are starting to get out of hand based on its popularity but still a good spot. You can find really cool pieces if you take your time.”

“Leisure World Plaza is very nice. Senior living quarters are located right behind the plaza. The plaza itself is always clean; it has a Giant Grocery store, a Post office, Subway rest, Burger King, Ledos pizza, and the best place to eat is Nancy's Restaurant!! Homemade food from breakfast to dinner, coffee, tea, juice, soda and desserts. The owner and the people that work there are extremely nice and friendly. You'll feel like they are friends or family you haven't seen in a while even if you have seen them everyday!”

“There's one of Montgomery county's older but more interesting shopping centers. Two levels are kind of difficult to navigate but have vastly different offerings.Driving around the lower end can be challenging because the parking lanes are very narrow and there's really only a few ways in and out so expect to take some extra time here.Store seem to change every couple of months but there's a few stalwarts like McDonald's and 7-Eleven and CVS.A good place to stop if you don't have any other options, but definitely not a place for a quick visit...”

“this place has been amazing for as long as I've been living in silver spring. the stores are full of a great variety of things, and sometimes I don't know what to get!! to be fair, some of the stores, like Burlington and Dave and buster's, seem to be on the decline, but that's part of the charm. across the street, there is a plaza that has an ice skating rink in the winter, and music and farmer's markets in the summer. the surrounding restaurants are amazing, and everything is within walking distance. I can't even take any pictures, since they wouldn't be even close to capturing the feeling of this place. I hope to make more and more memories of this place for years to come.”

“Corner Market is a VERY convenient and well-stocked store very close to the DC-MoCo line on Grubb Rd. It has EVERYTHING! Chips, canned goods, milk, eggs, tp, beer (local craft!), wine, frozen goods, fresh fruits and veggies, and more. This is the place you want to go to before a snow storm.”

“I have lived in this area for more than 20 years and stores have changed but the atmosphere has not. This is a kid friendly neighborhood as the argyle middle school is located across the street. There are bakeries, fitness centers, karate and martial arts, the vet, cvs pharmacy, beer & wine, nail & hair salons available as well as family friendly resturants. Together plaza del mercado and layhill are connected by foot but not by car. Be sure to enter into the right area for your store choice when entering.”

“Glenmont shopping center has changed since 20 years ago. It's still a great spot to shop coming from the metro station. They literally have all your needs for food & toiletries. Staples, cvs, Western Union, vape & Latino markets. Not many boutiques for pampering, you will have to drive out to Plaza del Mercado or drive down to the wheaton area.”
