Pumped here 5/16/24. My car only needs the regular gas, so I clicked on the normal gas. My receipt came out the highest it's ever been--took a look at the receipt and I was charged for the premium gas, which is over $1/gallon from the normal one. $1 X 20 gallons--I paid ~$20 over what I should've been paying. Suffice to say this is not quite the experience I was ever expecting. I hope this is just a pump malfunction and not committing fraud. I absolutely did not press the wrong pump button--there's a big reach between far left and far right. But seeing as how it was past 8 pm after work, and I had no proof aside from receipt and my car (standard SUV you would never use premium gas on), I just left.
Owner--please investigate what's going on with your pumps.

The owner/attendant is so useless if there’s any issue with the pump. While waiting in line to resolve my own issue someone else raised an issue about needing a receipt and the guy told him after the fact since there was no sign posted, that the receipt was broken on the pump (and 1 other). Ge didn’t even offer to give him a receipt from the register. Then it’s my turn and I him that the pump cancelled my supermarket rewards (which would have saved me $10). He told me to call Shell. No customer service understanding or explanation as to why the pump cancelled my transaction causing the loss isn the first place. Just told me to call one of the largest oil conglomerates to complain about my gas rewards. The guy is USELESS and i would avoid giving him your business as he has no interest to help his customers with any problem. My theory is that he cancelled the transaction when he saw I was going to save money on the sale to force me to pay full price at the other pump. Of course I can’t prove that intention but the lack of care or curiosity on how to resolve for me or future customers would indicate it was purposeful. Avoid going here and just use the gas station in the shopping center across the street or the other two shells up Georgia Ave who have always been good experiences!

On Friday, August 4 and Saturday, August 5, your pumps were NOT redeeming the 50 cents per gallon I have earned at Giany grocery stores. I went back to Giant and double-checked my Rewards Card. I currently have 562 points.

The station sits at the corner of Georgia Ave and Lay hill Rd. Four entrances for convenience but a little bit small at the gas pump. But no problem I put gas in a car.

I asked something simple. Do you have gas funnels. They said yes. Several kinds. I get there and they offer me a paper cup. WTF!!!!!!maybe they meant well but didn't explain well!!! I let him know I wanted a REAL gas funnel!!!!! I came a long way!!!! I had let them know ahead!!!!!they are RACIST. He kept looking at me like i was another wet bag. I highly recommend management talks With these people. When I let then know they were incompetent for not paying attention. They proceeded to insult me and I front of other customers. I didn't back down. However this behavior is not customer appropriate. These men need to be fired immediately!!!!!!!!!!! The one with the moustache he seemed VERY RACIST!!!!!!!!!! I made sure to let himself know I am proud of where I am from.

This gas station is located on Georgia Avenue at what can be a very busy intersection. It is on a small lot with 8 gas pumps and a convenience store. My #gasbuddy app often shows this as a low price on Friday when I am about to use my Fuel Rewards discount. I've never had problems entering my account at the pump for the total $0.15 discount ($0.10 extra from T-Mobile). There are a lot of concrete dividers down the middle of the road in the DC area and we have to make frequent U-turns. That is the situation where this #shell station is located. Without my Google Maps I wouldn't come here as often. So far I haven't had to go into the convenience store as I never need anything and the pump works fine. However I see a lot of foot traffic in and out of the Store in my short time standing across from my entrance as my phone shows me Fuel Rewards discounts & ways to get more bonus points shopping inside. Combine this with the entertainment news on the gas pump and I'm quite busy during the quick stop to fill up my tank. Also so far I have never waited to pull up to a working pump here.
