Zena is amazing!! She has such talent! She takes great care of my hair, asks questions to fully understand what I want, then makes it happen! Highlights, low lights came out perfectly!

I recently visited this salon and had no idea they specialize in so much. Elena did my nails for me and she was super patient with me. She took her time and made sure every product was pregnancy safe. It was a great experience! Elena definitely takes pride in her craft.

the atmosphere is very nice and clean it’s a pretty vibe, Elena was so nice and gentle. They do many services that i wasn’t aware of and the service i got done was eyebrows and she did an AMAZING job!! Super quick and precise!

Had to park my car and leave a review immediately!
First of all, the moment I walked in, these ladies greeted me and were so kind, they treated me like they truly wanted to serve and make me feel at home. Broke my toe nail before coming here and Elena was so kind enough to use a product that was way pricer than what I was originally paying for yet DID NOT charge me extra for the product that was used. Looked good as new. Elena offered some coffee (free of charge) I was shocked, the coffee was amazing (everything’s better with the hospitality is amazing) Had great conversations, learned some new things. She was amazing. Can’t wait to come again!!

After going to the same salon in Olney for 10 yrs we felt that the salon had changed a lot and not for the better. We were looking for something more local to us in Silver Spring. We did our research and found a hidden gem locally with good vibes/good reviews and great services! Salon EFX did not disappoint! We have found our new salon and stylist! ?♀️❤️??
Stylist: Yesenia is fantastic. As a new client she gave me a much needed cut/style. I was so impressed with her I went back 2 weeks later and she fixed my horrible hair dye job. Now I have a cute cut with wonderful color.

Hands down best salon experience I've ever had!! Between the owner's responsiveness to my messages on Yelp and Yesenia's thoughtful and incredibly skilled care, I am in love with this place! I was so relaxed, felt no pressure or stress (which is normally how I feel when getting my hair cut), and am sincerely looking forward to my next appointment (that I made sure to book prior to leaving the salon today)! I seriously could not recommend this place and Yesenia's work more! If I could give more than a 5 star rating, I would. I've received so many compliments on my hair already and I absolutely love the way it makes me feel and look! Way to go Salon EFX and Yesenia!

Hair type: My hair is a combination of both soft and rough a little it depends on the day. Very curly and grows when it wants to.
Stylist: As an African American my hair isn’t the easiest to do. So I put my hair through a lot of at home treatments and colors. I also have 4 kids so no time. My time with Emily today helped me realize I needed to treat myself better because the result was amazing. She is awesome!!!

Best hair salon in the silver spring area! My hair stylist Emily is the best!! They use great quality products, friendly, flexible with scheduling and all of the above!! Strongly recommend them. Also, Elena does the best massage ??♀️ ever! And nails. All one stop shop ? I’ve been a customer for 4 plus years now
