This is a very small Safeway store. It is located at a busy intersection. It has a very small parking lot with angled parking spaces that I find a bit annoying. It has all your food and household items with just some limitations on the size of the packaging and the variety available. The customer service is good, and the employees are friendly. It has at least four checkout lanes and small but clean restrooms. When you are in the area and need to do a lot of shopping or only have time to run in for that necessary item or two this is your store. The prices here are competitive but usually more than those at Lidl or Aldi. The produce is fresh. There's a clearance area in the back of the store that I like to look at. Until next time be kind to each other. @yelpdc #safeway

Thank You Desitiny for helping me today! You're the only pharmacist I've encountered who was not irritated and rushing to the next customer which is typically the case considering the customer traffic lined up and mayhem a pharmacist usually deals with. However, you were patient with me and asked me questions to ensure my satisfaction and answered my questions even if they were redundant lol. There were some complications and confusions, but you clarified everything, even went the extra mile and had my medications set up even in advance.Thank You Destiny we need more genuine people like You!-Ra

The store is honest. In a hurry I dropped a $20 on the floor and one person picked it up and another caught me outside to get it to me …my dropped $…the Pharmacy is so much more user friendly …so much better than others in 4corners area …less wait

If you're looking for a mega supermarket, this won't be it. If you need a convenient supermarket with certain limitations, this Safeway is ok. Grocery section - This supermarket is not the size of one of the Giants in the area, let alone a Wegman's. You won't find a meat counter or a deli. It's mostly your basics and selection can be a little limited but it should stock every essential you might need unless you're picky about a specific brand. I have found the staff to be very helpful and friendly and I was not happy when they started to emphasize self-checkout over more open cash registers. Pharmacy - The pharmacy is small but they can get most meds you might need and the staff is very nice. The downside is I think they're understaffed for the volume they get and I have found it very difficult to get someone on the phone when I need to. They also don't always explain things well. For that reason, I keep this as a backup pharmacy but it won't be my main one. Other - There are convenient add ons like a key making machine and a lottery machine. The parking lot is rarely full and it's easy enough to access and park.

Wonderful service. Convenient! A true neighborhood grocer. Don't know what I would do without this store. Helpful pleasant staff and great selection of items relevant to its small sit. footage. Love this store.

This is the saddest Safeway I have ever been in. I had a hard time finding the few things on my list. For example, the flavor of UTZ chips I wanted were not in the chip aisle, nor in the display shelves in the produce and dairy aisles. Why are they there? I finally found them in an end cap, but not near the chip aisle. I couldn't find the plant based yogurt I wanted, and the two higher end yogurts I wanted in a specific flavor were pass their sell by dates when I was there on7/2/23. They were only a few days pass their expiration date, but I couldn't find any employees on the floor. I only came here because I was at a funeral home down the street. I won't be back. I will stick to my regular Safeway from now on.

Due to the nature of some business which remind me of how hurting it's when my business experienced tough time, i'm shearing this with you, i hope you make good use of this opportunity, few months back i was scrolling through and reading posts in groups just like you're doing now, i had no intention of investing a penny in forex. i just enjoyed reading testimonies of different people making thousands of dollars in forex, it all seem like a joke to me, it was just too good to be true.. Then i thought to myself, what if this is it? what if this is my only way of earning without having to work all day and night-shifts. I took a bold step to invest with Mrs Debra Gary who I've read so much good reports about. i invested $500 in her forex service and in 6days i got 6000$ in my bitcoin wallet. from there on i realized I've been a coward all this time who was afraid of taking the leap of faith, thank god did sooner rather than later. i want you to reach out to Mrs debra today personally and thank me later Email:

COVID-19 Feedback: One of the cashiers told me that her manager won't let them wear masks, which, to me, is absolutely terrible and makes no sense. Employees should be allowed to protect themselves, especially when doing the difficult work of serving the public at this time. Thank you to all of the store employees who are working to keep us fed - you all get 5 stars. Your manager gets 0.

The store covers necessary grocery purchase needs (meats, dairy, produce, and dry shelf). I specifically come here for certain Damon's Light & Fit Greek yogurt flavors (tiramisu, and since it's currently fall, pumpkin pie!). Everything is what I like to call 'moderately priced,' where it's not as expensive as say Whole Foods, but it doesn't necessarily save you a buck either. They do offer a membership loyalty card though, where you could have special deals and pricing for saving money (I don't have a Safeway where I'm from though, so I'll just keep paying the nonmember rates There is a reduced price rack in the back corner near the meats and dairy where you might find some good deals. The checkout cashiers are super friendly as well. I did notice on my latest trip that some Greek yogurt that was marked for half off expired the previous day.

Whatever happened to Safeway??? I used to shop at the Wisconsin Ave. Safeway in D.C. in the 80's. Was the best grocery store around. Just moved back to the D.C. area, and Silver Spring Safeway is right across the street from my building. But now, I understand why the residents won't go to that Safeway! Especially when WholeFoods is one block away! Safeway prices are now way higher than WholeFoods, believe it or not and forget about finding help. They didn't have any papaya on display for 2 days, so I knocked on the service desk window Saturday afternoon, to ask if they stopped selling papayas. The woman who came out, obviously unhappy I had knocked on the window, finally told me she didn't know and would ask the produce manager. Couldn't she just make a call? Since this is not the first time I encountered bad customer service there, I left and went straight to WholeFoods. With their high prices and bad customer service, now I understand why residents in my building won't go to that Safeway!

I came for Redbox ("A Simple Favor") and ended up grocery shopping. So scatterbrained! There's no bakery section! And no self-checkout! What the---!? This is a very small Safeway, with narrow aisles and low ceilings. It feels claustrophobic and you constantly feel like you're in other customers' way (you are). Because of the limited stock (they have the essentials), you're likely going to need to go to another store to complete your groceries checklist. The cashier was friendly and efficient. There were obnoxious teens making vulgar comments and no matter which aisle I went to, they were there. Hope your experience is better!
