JUNE 2024 VISIT---The prices at this store are ultra high and the selection of many items is very low. The area around the pharmacy is not well stocked at all..
Examples:
-not enough variety of women's hair color
-very few brands of shampoos and conditioners
-just a bunch of bar soaps and all were super expensive.
*but they do carry a large variety of CANDY,chocolate bars,snacks,sodas and salty chips,2 aisles full of unhealthy expensive garbage!!
- ridiculous price for "not very fresh "?flowers at the counter $14+ small bunch
- not really good customer service in general in particular a Latino lady at the counter with thick accent hard to understand and not polite.
- items for handicap people like canes,post surgery home aid etc are VERY expensive.(see photo comparation prices for the same item on ebay etc and Walgreens on the right)
*This Walgreens in downtown Silver Spring is pricing items like they are in Georgetown or Kalorama triangle in DC,plus with low variety/quantity, HIGH PRICES and bad service. I do not recommend it. Will never go there again.

We had an outstanding experience with Betty at this Walgreens Pharmacy. Her professionalism, attention to detail, and genuine care for customers were evident. She took the time to answer all our questions. Her friendly demeanor and expertise made the entire process seamless and stress-free. Store is always getting robbed, as soon as they open to closing, its no wonder they suspect people. Store cant catch a break. Prices go up or never instock items because of the every single day robberies. People are sad

This place is understaffed, the manager who works at night doesn't seem to care about his customers, and when they call him to the cashier, he takes a long time to arrive and doesn't resolve the issue.

These people are RACIST towards black people, which is sad because they are also people of color. They have this little girl following people around, but it seems she only follows black people around the store. Also, the customer service is terrible. Smh, it’s truly disheartening that I can’t go to a Walgreens and shop without some little girl following me around like I’m trying to steal something. Smh. Y’all need to get it together. I travel the world for a living and it’s sad to be treated this way in a place that supposed to be a safe pace for people of color. I wish I could advocate to have this place closed, because the way they treat black people is NOT RIGHT. You will reap what you sow.

They do not even deserve one ⭐. I booked my COVID vaccine online and was given an appointment. I had to drive half an hour to get to this Walgreens. When I arrived there was no staff at the pharmacy and the only person working in the whole shop told me they had "not been offering vaccines in months but many people make appointments and show up every day." Walgreens sucks!

Betty at this Walgreens just called me and basically said it was suspicious I wanted to pick my prescription up there because I don’t live here, and proceeded to question me in an accusatory tone. That’s where my parents live. Ridiculous. Very rude. Very unprofessional. In general, the people at this pharmacy are always rude and unpleasant and that was the last straw. I’m never going here again for anything.

The worse Walgreens ever needs to be shut down the worse service including that they never have change and they also have racial profiling lines be long because there is only one cashier at the register

It should not take fifteen minutes to have the soap cabinet unlocked to buy soap. This is shockingly bad customer service.
