If you enjoy hearing all of your neighbors, grass never being cut, food/trash always being on the ground, and occasional firearms shoot outs, you’ll love it here.BEWARE, THEY’RE SHADY: We left our apartment in great condition, but requested to pay for the cleaning fee. They’re trying to charge us +$700 to reglaze two tubs that we have pictures of to show they were left undamaged, and $35 for a smart plug that never came with the unit. Do not trust UDR as they will try to scam you. And if you choose to live here, GATHER AS MANY PICTURES AND EVIDENCE AS YOU CAN!Do not live here unless you absolutely run out of options.

I just had terrible experience with their rental office. This is the worst apartment complex ever. They have least respect for prospective tenants. They are only after your money. DON'T MOVE TO THIS APARTMENT. SAVE YOURSELF .

I liked living here, but the rent is expensive so you don't have security with your orders, with your car. in less than 1 month, twice they stole and damaged more than 20 vehicles. you know that it is the police who solve these cases of vandalism, but they have not made the effort to install security cameras to at least make these thefts more difficult. courtesy of patrol I rarely see around here, I don't know if it makes sense to have this patrol and on the day you need them they are not there. perhaps a camera at each of the entrances to the condominium would be enough to control vehicles entering and leaving, anyway, this is just a suggestion.

even after 4 years living paying for everything on time, they were like my deposit claiming that the bathroom was not painted, apart from car thefts sadly I do not recommend there is a Brazilian and Spanish community

DO NOT MOVE HERE!! When you move out they try to rip you off by charging you with fraudulent charges! They replace the carpet when it could have been cleaned and charge you $882.28 for the carpet THAT COULD HAVE BEEN CLEANED! That plus other false charges were added to the list when I moved out, then they had a collection company put a negative collection on my credit report! NOW, I WILL SEE THEM IN COURT!

Place is not safe many robberies, bugs and cockroaches, cars stolen almost every week, they steal Amazon packages, they don't have cameras they don't invest in security.

Expensive rent and 0% security, cars with broken windows, stolen air bags, no security cameras. They've already stolen work van tools, stealing personal cars, so there's no point in locking the car, if I'm going to have my window broken and the air bag stolen. Condo obligation to have our safety as a priority, hire a night security guard right now.

Rent is expensive and there is no security, cars are stolen, shopping packages are stolen, strange people walk around the condominium and even sleep in the corridors of the apartments. There’s no security camera

Total insecurity, car break-ins, Amazon delivery thefts. And the people at the Office said if you don't like it, look for another place to live

DON'T MOVE HERE! They are cockroach infested and they are so unresponsive. The employees directly on the Ridgewood property are so nice, however, UDR is absolutely unresponsive and rude. We moved into Ridgewood apartments owned and managed by UDR in August 2020. We moved out due to a job relocation on March 31, 2022, and paid the full penalty of early move out as according to Montgomery County Law. We resigned our lease in May 2021 for another year. With our resign, we were promised a full carpet cleaning, which we never received. We paid rent every month and were never late with a payment. We had a pre move out inspection on March 29, 2022, where we were told the carpet might need to be replaced but no other issues were found. When we asked the property manager if we would be responsible for the cost of the new carpet, he said no we absolutely would not be responsible for that bill. A week after moveout, we got a bill for repairs they needed to make to the apartment. This included charging us for a full carpet replacement and blinds replacement. I emailed the billing department and asked why we were charged for the carpet and blinds, their response was that the carpet was stained and it was brand new when we moved in, so they needed to replace it. I told them that according to our move in checklist, the carpet was not new. They seem to have lost our move in checklist and have been claiming we never completed one, when in fact, we handed it directly to the on premise leasing department two days after we moved in. The carpet was stained and damaged when we moved in, and we noted that. When asking them about the blinds, they have not given a reason as to why we were charged and have been ignoring my questions about that. They have stopped responding to my emails trying to resolve the situation and will not budge or answer any more of my questions. This seems to be a common trend with them, considering multiple people have been through the exact same carpet situation as us. I just want to not be billed for this, I want my security deposit back, and I want an explination as to why they tried to charge us for new blinds.
