13425 Old Columbia Pike, Silver SpringMy parents took our pets to Fairland Animal Hospital when I was a young girl and I remember my Dad always saying how much he respected Dr. Whall and team for the tender love and care given to our dogs. Now at 63 years of age, I'm taking my pets to the BEST EVER Veterian Hospital around. Recently, my 8 year old Yorkie needed dental surgery and Dr. Andrew Gough was the vet who cleaned and extracted quite a few teeth. When I took her in I was very nervous but after speaking with Dr. Gough he told me exactly what to expect and to not worry. He said, if anything changed he would call me so, prior to surgery he called and explained further .. I was relieved and assured things would be fine. A few hours later I was called to come and pick her up and that she did fine. Let me just say "AMAZING" she was more than fine.. you would never have known she had surgery. I went home with meds and was really thinking she would in pain.. NOT... she was up running around and even ate a little food ( if I let her she would have eaten more).. I can't THANK Dr. Gough and the great team of folks who looked after my fur baby. I'm so pleased, never in the many, many, many years have I or my family been disappointed with the service, care and love. THANK YOU FAIRLAND... THANK YOU DR. GOUGH !!! THANK YOU DR. WHALL FOR HAVING SUCH A GREAT TEAM OF PROFESSIONALS ON BOARD.. WE LOVE YOU ALL...Sweetie, Spice baby, and Sugar :-)

8313 Grubb Rd, Silver SpringFamily Pet Vet is the absolute best. Dr. Wehrli is so compassionate and authentic. And, not only is Dr. Wehrli the best, but his staff is my absolute favorite. In particular Beatriz and Cai! They have so much love for all the animals. They are so kind and helpful. We had a really serious surgery with our older dog and they were so helpful in walking me through everything and getting him out and into the car to help me. When our dog ended up passing they were so compassionate. We now have a new puppy and they are just as loving. I feel like they are a truly family vet practice.

Even as a "fly on the wall" - I've watched the staff here handle situations from pet pregnancy, over the phone panic-stricken "parents" - to the worst day every pet owner deals with. These are the people you go to. When you welcome a new family member, when your "other children's" health needs looked after, to saying our final goodbye.. I wish I had an option for a 6th star, for this diamond that I have truly been lucky to find, deserves it. This wonderful place helped to coach me through raising my rescued kittens, and now my cats are in their double digits. I've been blessed with many loving years with them, and I only have these people to thank. So hats off and 5 stars to MMAH, here's to you.

13818 Georgia Ave, Silver SpringFar better experience than I imagined. Very reasonably price for very thorough examination and treatment. My dog has a pretty bad yeast infection in her ear and her regular vet didn’t have any time to see her this week so I found this place which I’m always skeptical to take her to new locations but given the good reviews and conveniently close to where I live I gave them a call early morning and was able to get a appointment the same day. The person who answered the phone was very professional and offered a quick easy method to get her in the system as she is a new patient. The person at the front desk, Erica, was kind and attentive. the waiting room was very spacish and clean, not crowded at all. I did not have to wait any time for a room to be ready to see her since I had an appointment I believe. The room itself was very clean, didnt have that smell as most vet rooms do, and very well air conditioned. The doctor who treated my dog was Adriana Ogando she has a very calm and professional demeanor and knew exactly how to handle my dog as she is a big dog but anxious in new environments. Both vet techs who helped were very kind and thorough. I was most afraid of what it was going to cost me but ended with a very reasonable bill for all they did. Exam, culture, cleaning and prescriptions all less than 300$. Maybe a third of the cost of what her regular vet would’ve charged me. 100% recommend and I am glad I have a local vet I am able to bring her to now. Thank you to the wonderful staff at Animal Place!

Dr Pant the Veterinarian here is THE BEST.!She is pleasant, friendly, very thorough and quite knowledgeable !!!! She is absolutely Amazing with her craft. My Pet loves her too !!!! This place is well worth the money which is well worth the services offered for the different plans they have. I know they take extreme care and concern with my pets and they give me excellent advice. This Banfield and Staff is absolutely Wonderful !!!!

10111 Colesville Rd #115, Silver SpringI have been employing Fetch! for my pet care needs for well over a decade now, perhaps 15 years (it's been a long time!). Without exception, the sitter (Jenny) has always gone above and beyond to satisfy every need while I'm away from home, not only for my pets, but in ensuring my home is secure during and between visits and in collecting mail and informing me of anything else that requires my attention (water leaks, flooding, etc.). In addition, the sitter has been wonderful in administering medications properly when needed and in cleaning litter boxes, food dishes, and eating/waste areas as needed. The sitter has also made time on every visit to play with my cats, which I can tell from photos that they've really enjoyed! I greatly appreciate the photographs Jenny sends after each visit, but I have always had complete peace of mind when I'm away, due to the fantastic communication she provides. Lastly, the management and staff of Fetch! have provided excellent administrative support in adjusting scheduling changes to accommodate my schedule. In my opinion, the service provided by Fetch! is worth every penny!

To which I told my friends that works at Secret Service, FBI, NSA, DOD and CIA while having breakfast at an undisclosed location. We watched the sunrise. I was injured due to extraction(rescued by my own Simba(BLUE-rescued dog, he was the runt litter) I was in great pain, healing yet was accommodated by CDTC. I'm very grateful. CDTC Instructors are patient, intelligent and hardworking volunteers.What I learned from CDTC:•Puppy (Pre-K) Class is "The Foundation" of learning canine behavior, language and needs•Proofing canine training is Family Dog 1 and that was exciting, this is when my canine and I become a team.•Family Dog 2 CGCT is a very advanced training program, $#!% got real fast. This is when I realized, team life is real and my canine was teething and I got caught off guard. But "we" keep trying, learning and working, together, hence we are not only a team my canine and I are a family. We will work together no matter what curve ball is thrown on us.We are here to stay as long as we are welcome and accepted. Right here in CDTC

A life saver, he is a great dog but I'm not sure if I would have been able to keep him without the training he got there . Great at problem solving . He has been going there for additional classes and sessions for several years and extremely happy with the care he gets there.

He loves going there and will regularly try to herd us out the door in the morning to take him. The staff is very friendly and clearly care about the dogs. It has outdoor space for the dogs to run around, which is great and not something the first daycare we tried had. Highly recommend.

Nazrawi Ethiopian Restaurant
952 Sligo Ave, Silver SpringI was visiting Silver Spring from out of town with a friend and was pleased to see all of the options available for Ethiopian cuisine in the area. We narrowed it down to Nazrawi Ethiopian Restaurant and couldn't have been more pleased with our choice. The staff was very welcoming and was burning a fresh ember of itan zaf as we were walking in. The ambiance was very relaxing. We chose Nazrawi Tibs, Awaze Tibs (lamb), and the vegetarian combo. It was absolutely excellent and some of the best Ethiopian I've ever had. Every single thing that arrived on our platter was delicious. I'm not always a "vegetarian" guy but I always get a vegetarian combo at every Ethiopian restaurant I try; I find it is a good indicator of quality. The beef came out sizzling and the lamb was spicy and rich and served on a bed of fresh njera. We had a huge portion of food and we ate more than I think either of us was expecting because it was just so good. We ended our meal with an excellent Ethiopian coffee set. All in all, this was just one of my favorite dining experiences I've had. The staff was wonderful and if I lived in the area, this would be one of my spots I would frequent regularly. I can't recommend this place enough. A++ experience. Keep it up Nazrawi! I will be back again next time I'm in town!

It's located in a busy little shopping strip between the beer and wine store and the beauty supply store. You have the typical blue and white decor that you find in almost every Greek restaurant. There are pictures of Greece all around. We started our meal with the Village Bread which consist of four slices of herb-garlic bread. Our entrees were the Trio Platter and Lamb Chops. I've always considered a combo platter for those who were undecisive or just want to try everything. This dish had skewers of chicken souvlaki and pork souvlaki and sliced gyro. There was a stack of pita bread, fries, and tzatziki. Definitely a large portion of food that we had to take home as leftovers. Both souvlaki was cooked well and the meat was tender. The Lamb Chops were cooked at medium as requested. They were a little tough and I had expected the meat to be a little softer. But the seasoning was good. The lamb chops came with green beans and Greek potatoes. For dessert we tried the Galaktoboureko. It was like a burrito made of phyllo dough filled with a semolina orange custard and sprinkled with cinnamon on top and syrup. I didn't think the custard was very "orange-y" and wished I had ordered the baklava. But at least I tried something new. Service: Attentive Parking: Not abundant but you should be able to find spaces.

This means thin crust and bubbly crust. We had The Ashton, which is a veggie pizza. Veggies were great yet I feel the pizza could have used another couple minutes in the oven. We also had The Colesville, which is a meat pizza, including bacon. This pizza was cooked to perfection. It was Saturday night and they had live music.
