I've been getting my hair braided at Natural Beauty By Lalia for over 4 years now, and they never disappoint! The women there are true artists when it comes to braiding hair. Their skills and attention to detail are unmatched.
I love how they take their time to get every braid perfectly parted and neat. Even when I come in with a head full of new growth after taking my braids out, they manage to braid it up flawlessly. The braids always last so long and hold up incredibly well.
What keeps me coming back is their efficiency in getting the job done right. The braiders work quickly but never sacrifice quality. They make sure every part is smooth and the braids are even from root to tip.
Last year, I did the big chop and decided to go completely natural. Natural Beauty By Lalia has been a godsend during my natural hair journey. I get box braids or feed-in braids for a partial sew-in weave every few months to protect my ends and let my hair breathe. It's the perfect protective style while my hair grows out.
Whenever I take the braids out, my hair is moisturized and healthy underneath. I know I can trust them to properly braid without causing any unnecessary tension or breakage. Their methods have really helped me retain length.

I went in to get jumbo braids and ended up with medium size braids after sitting getting them done.. spoke to the owner and the only option was to take all of the braids out and sit and get them redone and add more tension to my hair

Amazing service, super quick and efficient and affordable. Dropped my daughter off for flat twists on her natural hair. They were finished in 1-1/2 hours. AHMAZING. They were neat, her hair was clean, and the price was good! Excellent work and we will be back.

It only took 3 hours! Lalia was very nice. I called in 1st and was able to walk right in the chair the same day.
I came in about 10a and I was out by 1p. Highly rated and recommended. She been in business a long time.
Reasonably priced.
And will definitely come back again. Lalia wash my hair really good! 2 other staff started braiding my hair. Before I knew it a 3rd jumped in! I'll be back again. I got Boho box braids. It looks really cute too ?!

Very disappointing! Called to inquire about a simple hairstyle and even sent pictures of what I wanted. I was given a price, which I was willing to pay. However, after I got my hair done the price went up. I was extremely shocked and upset and will take my business elsewhere!

Quoted one price over the phone. Got my hair done, which turned out well even though I thought the stylist was heavy handed. When it came time to pay the price jumped up $20. I will never go back.

These ladies don't play! Natural Beauty by Lalia are all professionals with great customer service. Experts at what the do. Any type of hairstyles from braids, twists, locs, and more. Clean, comfortable, and safe atmosphere. Yes, I definitely recommend this establishment.

I've been to this shop before and had twist done but this time i needed knotless braids. It was really a terrible experience and i walked away having paid $250 (way more than I was quoted) for braids that arent what i requested. I requested small knotless braids to my butt and got medium/ smedium braids that are mid back at best. The ends of some of the braids are randomly cut (blunt cut) and it looks terrible. If you want knotless braids I suggest Agnes in Silver Springs or Super Braiding in Hyattsville. I was in a time crunch and need it done so tried them. big mistake and waste of money. pictures attached for reference. absolutely not worth $250

I love my braids! The scheduling process was easy and I was able to book an appt for the sane week. I get SO many compliments on my braids! $200 for box braids & hair is included! It took about 4 hours. Overall, I'm very impressed & have been raving about Natural Beauty by Lalia.

I love this shop!
I called at 12:30 and asked if they had any appointments available, and the owner said I can come now. I was in the chair by 12:45!
My braiders were gentle and did exactly what I asked for.
They were also quick. I sat down at 12:45, and I was out before 3:00. My braids are neat, and didn’t feel tight at all. I’ll definitely be back here. Perfect service, quick and efficient, and excellent braiding.
