"Take it to your closest MyEyeDr," they said... But this is my closest MyEyeDr.
I recently ordered a pair of regular glasses and a new set of lenses for my sunglasses. These sunglasses were previously purchased from MyEyeDr, and I simply wanted to update the lenses in the same frame. When I placed my order, the MyEyeDr associate assured me that this was a routine and straightforward process.
However, when I returned to have the lenses swapped out, the associate told me they couldn't do it because they "don't have the tools" and the sunglasses "weren't purchased at this location," even though they carry the same glasses.
The associate then attempted to pop out the old lenses by holding the frame between her hands and bracing her arms against her sides to push them out. I immediately asked her not to break them, but she reiterated that she couldn't do it and suggested I "take it to your closest MyEyeDr." I replied, "This is my closest MyEyeDr."
After an awkward pause, she suggested I try the MyEyeDr in downtown Silver Spring, saying they might be able to help. Frustrated and dumbfounded by the lack of proper service, I just said "ok" and left. No wonder this location has such negative reviews. It was a truly disappointing experience.
I ended up driving all the way back to the MyEyeDr in Olney, where the lab technician was able to easily swap out the old lens for the new ones, in under five minutes, and WITHOUT almost completely breaking my sunglasses.

The worst customer service. I ordered a glass after my check up and it has been more than 2 weeks which is the time limit they sayed it would be ready. I call the first time, I was told it has not been delivered and another person would check on it and call me back,this was on Wednesday never got the call so I called back on Saturday morning and the lady on the phone didn’t let me finish explaining my situation when she talked over me and ask for phone number. I provided that and she put me on hold to only come back and tell me it is not ready. I tell her I’m leaving out of town and I’ve mentioned this on my first day visit to make sure I get it on the set date and she didn’t seem to care one bit about that and straight out sayed she would check and called me back and as I was saying I would wait on the phone she hanged up. Check who you put at your front desk! This is disrespectful, I would never visit this place again let alone recommend it to people. Disappointing!

I came in to visit the 4 corners MyEyeDr. Location and I’m so glad I did! Everything about my experience was great. The customer service was phenomenal, and they made sure I was very well taken care of during my first time visit with them. I appreciated the attentiveness from everyone and will highly recommend this location. Thank you for making my visit so pleasant!

Scheduled an appointment a week ago.Badly needed Saturday appointment due to work obligations, and let go of other options because this place was close. I'd seen reviews about double-booking, but wrote them off as "must be a rare mistake."Today (Friday, the day before my appointment), I get a voicemail saying "just calling to confirm your appointment"; then a text saying "your appointment may be canceled"; then an email saying "we look forward to seeing you at your appointment tomorrow."30 mins after receiving the email (saying "see you tomorrow!"), I call the office and they tell me they've double-booked, and I need to reschedule, how about Monday?Nonsense.

Do not go here! There is something wrong with this location. They use COVID as an excuse to lock the door and ignore customers. In 2024, with 5 employees inside and no masks! Staff is absurdly rude, to the point I'd almost recommend going just to see and have a laugh.But don't expect to get anything done. They don't know how their computer systems work, can't provide basic services like figuring out a warranty, etc.Go to one of the many other locations in the area. They are much better!

If you are a student from out of town don’t waste your time here go to your home doctor. Drove 20 mins to come to my eye appointment to find out that it was overbooked and cancelled. I needed an urgent eye appointment so I picked the earliest availability that worked with my schedule and it was this office. I will admit they called and reminded me about my appointment but as a student who just took a final every single day for the past 5 days it wasn’t on my list to call them back because it was already booked. However, I would have been totally understanding if they said in the voicemail, “Hey we accidentally overbooked your appointment and would like to see if you would like to reschedule or cancel.” However, they never did and had to rush over here for an appointment that was canceled without my knowledge. I’ve been going to my eye doctor for awhile now and I’ve never had this happen before. At the three other locations I’ve visited I have had amazing customer service and this one did not meet the expectation. At the one in Greenbelt they also call and email so maybe an email or voice mail saying my appointment was canceled would of been helpful.
