“This gem of a local wine store offers an excellent range of wines and beers, at very reasonable prices. Plus, the owner is very knowledgeable and will take the time to help you select something to your taste.”
“This hole-in-the-wall market is nearby and carries most things. The cashier (store owner?) is always so nice and helpful. Last time I was here, I grabbed a single corndog, a mini bottle of wine, and a bag of chips. Totaled about $11. Love this place. Oh, and if you’re into beer and wine, this place has plenty of it!”
“Very nicely organized clean and friendly. It might be just because it was a Sunday but they did seem a bit under stocked on some of the staples. Some basic brand name vodkas only had one or two bottles on the shelf same thing with some whiskeys I would expect to see more of there were only three or four bottles left.”
“In Montgomery County, MD, the county manages most of the liquor stores. This is conveniently close to me. Bought a very nice botanical gin and a bottle of Aperol. Selection of liquor and wines is somewhat limited. Staff is disinterested and aloof. Chain liquor stores outside Montgomery County (such as Total Wine in Laurel, MD) have a much more welcoming atmosphere, many attentive and knowleagble staff and a wider selection of wine and spirits.!!!!”
“Best sub place in the DC area. Been a patron for 35 years and I’ve yet to find a finer sandwich elsewhere. Take your pick really, the steak and cheese is my personal favorite but their BLT, Italian sub, Chicken salad and others are truly exceptional. They also have a huge variety of wines and beers and the owners have become increasingly personable over the years.”

“This is my go-to store for beer and wine. I have been going here for about 2yrs, and every time I purchase beer, whether it is a single or a six-pack, it is always nice and cold! Unfortunately this can't be said about the other beer store in Cloverly. Family Market has a nice little selection of wine, and both Sehee and her husband are super with how they greet people, and helping in whatever way they can. BEST beer store in Cloverly & Colesville.”

“I rent U-Haul cargo vans from here, monthly, and the manager of the beer/wine store runs the U-Haul business. This is a great location to rent a u-haul. I have read negative reviews, which perplex me. I have rented vehicles for this location 7 times in 5 years, and 3 of these were in the last year. Therefore, I suspect that any bad reviews were responses to isolated incidents to which even great businesses are susceptible from time to time. Especially, this location allows mobile phone transactions ANYTIME of the day or night 24/7/365.”

“Corner Market is a VERY convenient and well-stocked store very close to the DC-MoCo line on Grubb Rd. It has EVERYTHING! Chips, canned goods, milk, eggs, tp, beer (local craft!), wine, frozen goods, fresh fruits and veggies, and more. This is the place you want to go to before a snow storm.”

“Excellent selection of craft beer and good wine selection as well. Shop is local, convenient and crowded with selection. Stopped in for beer and left with 3 six packs of local craft beer I had not yet tried and a Belgian as well. Throw in a pretty good bottle of wine and I was set. There was also a wine tasting/sampling when I was there. I will be back.”
“You cannot get better than Bel Pre Beer and Wine. They have a terrific and broad selection of wines at a variety of prices. Jim has been able to fulfill all my larger orders from Halloween to New Year's. He also delivers my book club orders which is only 3 to 4 bottles with the same care as he does the larger ones. He makes outstanding recommendations as well. You will never see me in line at the state stores again. They deliver promptly and again there is something in everyone's price range. They need to tell their landlord that the car's out front have to be moved. no one should be pulling up out front and running in to buy beer... if their landlord cannot hear their complaints then shame on the landlord.”

“For wines, they have an excellent overall selection. For beers? Do you like IPAs or the seasonal fad? Then you'll find a lot to like. For anything else, the selection is very hit or miss - a couple porters, one dubbel, a handful of Oktoberfest brews, and not a "quadrupel" or barleywine in sight. I suspect 90% of beer lovers will find what they're looking for here, but you might not.”

There's even a built-in Ethiopian habesha at the end of the produce aisle where you can get mitmita, berbere, shiro, injera, or whatever else you need. Plus it's been operating long enough that you can one-stop shop here for beer and wine, as well, unlike most Montgomery County grocery stores.”
“I love this place! I have been going for years. The employees are incredibly friendly and the store has great hours. Wide selection of beer and wine, and they even have cold champagne, prosecco, and rose if you are off to a brunch. 29 Mart also carries snacks, ice cream, and some grocery items.
