Awesome awesome awesome! I would give them 6 stars if I could! My Brother suggested I go to Lazaro Jewelers to get my engagement ring. I had a basic understanding of what to look for in selecting a quality diamond, but Gus went above and beyond to educate and enlighten us BEFORE he showed us some inventory. He was passionate about his craft…and it didn’t feel like a “normal” transaction. It was like buying a ring from a family friend. Beautiful ring…easy transaction…and awesome service afterwards!! Thanks a million…she LOVES it! ?

Had a great time working with Gus for a ring resizing. He was incredibly fast, gave an accurate quote and a joy to work with. Will be coming back for future jewelry needs

I do not recommend doing business with Gus. I purchased a 2ct K SI2 loose round brilliant diamond that I had him place in a custom made setting that was a white gold ring with 1.42 cts of pave diamonds. I paid him $11,000 for the solitaire and $5,800 for the custom made ring setting. The engagement I bought it for did not work out and my ex was nice enough to give it back to me. Since trying to recover my investment, I haven't been able to find anyone that will give me even $5,000 for it. It is an EGL stone that he gave me paperwork for that values it at $18,000 and he had the ring appraised before he handed it over to me which valued it at $23,000. I asked Gus to buy the ring back for just the cost of the stone since the ring was a service he provided and I understand I can't ask for that back. He refused everything reasonable which he would make money twice off me with that one ring. This tells me he either doesn't know jewelry values correctly or he knows he did something dishonest. Gus effectively cheated me out of over $10,000.In response to below, my then fiance was not happy with what you made. The day I picked it up you said "I took some liberties" which meant you deviated from what was asked of you.I have not taken the ring to pawn shops at all. Estate sales and other jewelers are where I have gotten these offers. If the 2ct stone is valued at $18,000 by EGL and I gave you almost $6000 for the rest of the ring something is way off if no one wants to pay even $6000 for the ring. You said make me an offer during one of our conversations. I said $7000. You said no way. This tells me you know you did something wrong. The money I paid you was saved from my deployment in Afghanistan. This also shows your lack of appreciation for U.S. service members.

We visited 4 jewelry shops and we found Gus as the most knowledgeable and best selection! The other ones were nice but La Zaro's Jewlery selection was above and beyond anything else we had seen. They had an abundance of beautiful diamonds and bands. Gus took his time to teach us about diamonds and what to look for in a great one. He was able to create this ring in a timely fashion and at a great value. Highly recommend this jewelry shop. I can't wait to shop here again!

If you're looking for phenomenal work, amazing quality, and great prices come to Lazaro Diamonds. He helped my fiancé create the most beautiful ring and taught him about cut and clarity at the same time. I recommend checking him out for all your jewelry needs. We definitely look forward working him again in the future.

We love our rings, Gus! You did an excellent job on both of our wedding rings. We are constantly getting comments on our choices and the craftsmanship you put into our rings! Thank you for everything!

Been doing business with LaZaro Jewelry (Gus) for over 27 years. He has the best prices and most honest guy you will ever meet. I was in the market for a diamond tennis bracelet . I searched around and Gus got me the best deal imaginable on my bracelet. I will never go to another jewelry store. I recommend LaZaro Jewelry to all my friends and highly recommend you give him a call.

I was referred to Gus by a friend and had been taking my jewelry there for repairs for about 2 years. Initially everything was great...great turnaround....great work...etc., until recently. I took my engagement ring in to be repaired for a loose stone. After picking it up and wearing it home I noticed that the loose stone had fallen out again...like within hours of picking it up. I quickly called Gus and arranged to take it back to have it repaired. The problem came when the stone fell out again after being repaired the second time. After talking about the problem I was informed that I would have to get a new ring because my ring was beyond repair. At which point I took my ring to get a second opinion and was informed by two separate jewelers that the previous jeweler (Lazaro) had used adhesive/glue on the stones to get them to stay in. The adhesive/glue had begun to spread throughout the setting thus causing more damage. I'm not sure if Gus switched repair personnel but the fact that they would use glue on my ring instead of just telling me they could not repair it is pretty astonishing and disheartening. I was able to take my ring to be repaired by another jeweler and am very happy.
