My salesman John Speake was amazing. He did all the usual with the sale, taking good care of me and making sure I was comfortable. I felt like he was my advocate. He even got me 1/2 tank of gas when I did not purchase the package that included it. But it was his service AFTER the sale that really impressed me. Because the truck was used, the code to unlock the door was missing. When I went to have them pull it, I initially had a very unsatisfactory experience! But John went to work, meeting with the service manager and making sure everything was worked out to my satisfaction. The end result is they are going to install a new door device AND give me a free oil change at my house! So thanks to John for getting it sorted and making sure everything was right. Thanks too to Ernesto, the service manager, for working to turn the experience with service into a positive one.

Joy was and continues to be an amazing agent to us. Our family and extended to friend. Her willingness, commitment, compassion, understanding and drive and finding exactly what we needed for finding the great car.I highly recommend Joy not only as a great agent who is knowledgeable, has connections, is a go-getter and shows-up. We understand when buying a vehicle, there are matters that need to be addressed after the sale, our experience even during that process with Gessin Pauyo has been exceptional.

Absolutely 100% recommended. I got my first brand new Mazda CX5 with a great deal and my dad got his CX-50, in less than a week. I am so fortunate to have found Koons Mazda Silver Spring. Above and beyond our expectations. True professionals!, from Sales to Managers. Specially Joy, she is amazing and makes the process really smooth. She goes above and beyond for her customers and tries to help as much as possible. It has been more than a month and yet im still satisfied with the quality and performance.

I called and asked if they did delivery and the salesman said yes, no problem. We could e-sign on one day and deliver the car I wanted the next day. The car I wanted had already been established. It was online as certified having a year of bumper to bumper and then several more years of powertrain. Being certified told me that it would be a clean car, have 2 sets of key, mats, books and next to zero blemishes. As we went through the approval process, I found out it wasn't certified and hadn't even been through the shop yet. The day of delivery got pushed back again. I asked the salesman about the keys , mats, books, and blemishes. He said it only had one key and ignored the mats and books. He said it only had one blemish on the front. I figured that into the deal. I used to be a manager in the car business, and I know someone who could fix that one. Days went by, and getting information was near impossible since when one manager was off, no one else knew how to follow up, apparently. They were supposed to deliver on Friday morning, the salesman verified late Thursday night. At 5am! , Friday, the sales manager sends a text to give him a call. The car was STILL in service and wouldn't be ready. I had sold my old car on Thursday based on. their word. We have 2 businesses to run and this was a company vehicle. I expressed severe displeasure to say the least and they ended up bringing it Friday evening. BTW, I had to pay for 3 years of warranty instead of two since the didnt honor what they had advertised online or even offer any discount at all to make up for it. The salesman spent a whole 60 seconds from my first phone call until the end going over features on the car. I had to spend 10 bucks and print out my own maroney window sticker to teach myself the car. The car showed up with no mats, no books, and all 4 of the wheels were damaged, 2 severely. The salesman had bold face lied to me. It did have a second key and the sales manager acted like it was a sacrificial gift even though they had advertised it as certified. Not honoring what you advertise is against the law and becomes an issue for the Attorney General. The salesman couldn't wait to be done and on his way. I acted like everything was OK since I know how to repair rims. My wife had just been through a severe personal trauma and I didn't want to upset her but I was livid inside. Had it not been for her, I would have told that lying, ,poor excuse for humanity of a salesman to pack up that scratched up piece of crap car and take it back where it came from. He thinks he's qualified to be a finance manager now but he's not even qualified to run a hot dog stand. And, if they are going to lie, then he and the sales manager should meet to get their stories straight. I caught him in several discrepancies even outside of the obvious and blatant. I bought from Koons in Easton before and had a great experience and gave great reviews and sent them customers. This place isn't that. Where I worked, everyone but the finance manager would have been taken off the floor and put in training.. I know because training was part of what I did as a manger. This salesman doesn't have the integrity or IQ to be a finance manager. He will get either himself or his bosses arrested because that position requires you know what you are doing and you are straight with people. Now, instead of doing my Saturday plans, I have to go repair this stupid car so I'm not embarrassed to anyone. The manager in an attempt to "make it right" offered a "free oil change". I just went along at first, but I am 2 hours away, so he just offered me something he knows he will never have to give and he thinks that makes everything better. He's no smarter than the salesman. Thanks for nothing Koons. One of the most disappointing, dishonest and incompetent car buying experiences of my life, and we've owned 50 cars in the last 40 years.

After researching all the Mazda vehicles, I decided to try the Mazda CX-5 and CX-50. After checking dealership websites to see who had what I wanted in stock, this dealership had everything, so I booked an appointment on the website. Friendly sales rep Edwin spent the day with me this past Sunday trying a few different models and helped me decide on the CX-5. He even delivered the vehicle to my house, since it needed to be detailed before coming home, and it was perfectly detailed! If shopping for a Mazda, definitely visit this dealership and ask for Edwin! The whole team was a dream to work with, no hard sell, or a lot of extras forced on you. Thanks also to Jesson and Yolanda for making it seamless.

My husband and I ended up at Koons Silver Spring after having some disappointing encounters at some other local dealerships. We filled out the form online to reserve a slot to test drive one of the cars and someone from the dealership called us immediately to speak with us. I missed the call but when I called back, I spoke to Edwin who was the consummate professional and answered the questions we had at that time. When we arrived at the dealership, Edwin asked some more questions to really understand what we were looking for and what our priorities were for our intended purchase. He explained to us the options we had based on our preferences and made sure he addressed any concerns we had. Edwin was very knowledgeable about the vehicle and generally made our experience enjoyable. His expertise and demeanor, along with the transparency of pricing at Koons, led to our decision to purchase our car that day. Even as we were filling out the paperwork, Edwin was amazing at ensuring that the car was readied for us to leave with it that evening. We love our Mazda CX-90 so far and we are very thankful for Edwin and the folks at Koons Silver Spring.

After research I identified what vehicle was the perfect fit for me. I decided on the Mazda CX-5, a classic and timeless vehicle. When I arrived to this dealership, sales representative, Justin, made sure to find the exact model I was looking for. He was very thorough in regard to answering all my questions on the vehicle’s specifications and features, making sure I was comfortable with my decision. My needs have been satisfied with this purchase. If shopping for a Mazda, definitely visit this dealership and ask for Justin!

My experience with Koons Mazda of Silver Spring was good! They have a good selection of cars.Kevin was my Koons/Costco designated salesperson and he was a very amiable, professional person to work with. He worked with me to make the car buying process enjoyable. I was there for several hours, but left very pleased.Kevin was a pleasure to work with and the finance team as well (Josh and Sam).

this was the most unessasarily tedious car shopping experience I've ever seen. Went with my family to help my grand son buy his first car. It took four hours to come to a meeting of the minds with the salesman and "mystery" manager. Next step, paper work. Got all the way to the financing part when the salesmen suddenly says there is a mistake the car you agreed to buy is not the one on the invoice I have here with the handwritten deal of the day and smilly face scribbled on it. The car you wanted costs $1500 more but I have the car on this invoice available to you and its the same car. It was not the same car, Different trim, color and other things. Looked to us for all practical purposes like a bait and switch. After four and half hours we left empty handed. Call to the general managers next day were also a waste of time. They could care less about what we were put though and would not honor the quoted price, After twenty some years of being Koons customers we are through with Koons and they could care less.

Annoying phone calls while dealing with a sales rep on line. Sales staff does communicate with each other and they don't listen to you. Kept trying to upscale me and then sell me a vehicle I was not interested in. Price is inflated for "market rate". Even after telling them I bought elsewhere at a better price, they continue to call daily. I will never ever even consider buying a car from Koons.
