Kathleen is absolutely amazing and the loan officer you want on your homebuying team, ESPECIALLY if you're a first time homebuyer doing it solo like I was. Together with my wonderful agent, she made my first step on the property ladder dream happen.
Before I get into more detail below -- if you were like me and just scared or totally lost on real estate finances because of the news/social media, talk with Kathleen because she will make everything so easy to understand. There is not a one-size-fits-all solution when it comes to mortgages and she will work with you to see what is best for you and what you're comfortable with.
I was not as educated as I should have been when I entered my homebuying process because there is such an overwhelm of information out there, but Kathleen was so patient and transparent with me, and completely guided me through every step.
I talked with 3 different mortgage brokers and she stood out to me immediately with her sincerity and willingness to spend so much time on the phone walking me through every single aspect of the finances behind homebuying. She has this wonderful MortgageCoach tool that she uses to walk you through your different loan scenarios live, and she can update it while talking with you if you want to see how different numbers or programs can affect you.
From offer with pre-approval letter to closing day, we closed on a condo in less than a month, and we locked in a rate before they started going back up the very next day. She pulled in everything she could to get my rate as low as possible, worked tirelessly with the project team to get everything reviewed and approved, and did what she could to keep my closing costs as tight as possible.
Kathleen is all about minimising the interest you pay and getting you mortgage-free as soon as possible, and I would 100% go back to her for future refinancing and when I take the next step up the property ladder to a single family home. Her attitude is that she's in it for your whole real estate financial journey, and I cannot express how thankful I am that I was able to have her on my team.

Kathleen is terrific! Two years ago, my realtor connected me with Kathleen during our home buying process and Kathleen pulled together an awesome mortgage in record time. She was knowledgeable and friendly during the entire process and was a great resource.I have enjoyed using her Homebot app since then, and we recently had an opportunity to connect. I had reached out with a question and we ended up chatting on the phone for a while, and I was happy to get to know Kathleen a bit better. I had been a little focused on closing the last time we substantially interacted but Kathleen is as delightful a person as she is a broker.As a single woman buying my first home, Kathleen made this a fast and easy process, and an excellent investment. Kathleen gets things done. Throughout my entire home buying process, she was communicative, organized, and adaptive.Before I found Kathleen, I was dissatisfied with other mortgage loan officers I tried to work with. As a first time home buyer, I wanted a loan officer who were knowledge and experienced, but also good at explaining their process to me and keeping me in the loop. Kathleen delivered on all of this to a T and guided me through what could have otherwise been a difficult closing process.I would absolutely recommend Kathleen to a friend or family member, I cannot imagine them doing better with anyone else.

Kathleen is absolutely WONDERFUL!! She did above and beyond our expectations in buying our first home!! Kathleen was AMAZING to work with. She was recommended by a family member and was the first person we spoke to when we began our home-buying process.As first-time homebuyers, we knew almost nothing about the process, and Kathleen walked us through everything, spending more than an hour with us on our introduction call to make sure we knew what to expect and help us understand if we were really ready to take the plunge.We ended up finding a house we fell in love with not soon after. We submitted our paperwork to Kathleen on a Thursday evening, had a pre-approval letter so we could make an offer the next day by noon, and had our offer accepted by Saturday afternoon.This was right before Christmas, yet within days, we had our paperwork together and our appraisal complete, allowing us to enjoy the holidays and celebrate our new home! We even closed shortly after New Year's, meaning from offer accepted to closing was less than 3 weeks!Every step of the way, Kathleen was informative, responsive, and helpful. She knows the business inside and out, even suggesting a program that would lower our monthly payments for the first two years. I was very fortunate to work with Kathleen when I was buying my house. At the time, the market was extremely intense, and I have no doubt in my mind that I managed to get my townhome because of her hard work in securing my loan.
