“I love the simple layout of the store that allows for quick shopping. They do move things around every so often, so sometimes you have to hunt for where they moved your favorite item. Pleasant staff, clean store, they constantly restock. They don't have everything you find in some larger Trader Joe's but then again the atore isn't huge which makes wuick trips easy.”

“I was always a loyal customer in that place but there was a person with dark skin who was racist and said he was security, humiliated me by saying that I had opened some products that were already like that, I just took them and put them in again, that person forced me to bring them. the product was damaged, accusing me that I had broken it, I swore I would never return to that place again and I do not recommend it to anyone, there is another person who told me the same thing that he wanted to do with her... terrible place, they treated me very badly as a criminal and unfairly”

“Small but covenient Indian grocery store! They're in a busy shopping center next door to Hip Hop chicken. My mom put me onto their mangoes and indeed they are sweet and definitely worth it. They don't always have them, but when they do, I am happy. Their hours online aren't consistent so call ahead if possible. They have other fruits, spices and snacks.”

“The truth is that the times I have been here have gone well. The guy seems a little unfriendly. I felt like he was discriminating against me. Be careful because this area is BEVERLY. I've definitely noticed it. It's a matter of surviving until we find something better and like any place to look everywhere!!!!! Well, in the end they did help us. They were kind. I just felt that they were not friendly at the beginning.”

“Aldi experience is on brand here. Showing it's age a bit in atmosphere & feel. You won't always find the 'fun' stuff that drops weekly, but it does the job.”

“Mostly a selection of Indian spices and many other ingredients for Indian cooking. They also have a variety of frozen heat-and-eat Indian foods. They also offer a smaller selection of Ethiopian foods. It's fun to browse - you're sure to find something good!”

Lots if cheese options.
Could have better brands of cottage cheese.

“This is the best store to get bagels! They also have a nice selection of local products like Cava and Little Sesame hummus, etc. They have a few pre-packages desserts from DC vegan icon Sticky Fingers, they’re located by the registers. It’s of course pricier that some other grocery stores, but they do have some deals on produce and sale items. I always seem to find a deal on Rao’s pasta sauce, for example. You could pair it with Aldi next door for a full grocery stock up. They also have beer and wine.”

“More lower prices needed prices high as Giant do more to help neighbors if they had more sales so people will not use them as a last minute store more people shop at Food lion and Aldi for meats and other items for the lower prices meats such as chicken and steak and pork in Global to high compared to other store true it's an international store yet people in this community are struggling to make ends meet lower prices or a sale would help their prices are higher then giant and safeway”

“Corner Market is a VERY convenient and well-stocked store very close to the DC-MoCo line on Grubb Rd. It has EVERYTHING! Chips, canned goods, milk, eggs, tp, beer (local craft!), wine, frozen goods, fresh fruits and veggies, and more. This is the place you want to go to before a snow storm.”

“The best Brazilian market in the DMC area. There's a variety of products and the prices are incredible! You also can find delicious salgados such as coxinhas, pão de queijo, pastel etc to eat in the store and have a break before going home.If you're Brazilian, you're gonna love it and kill some of the saudade from home.If you're not Brazilian but are curious about our food, I definitely recommend going to By Brazil and try some of the salgados on the counter ;)”

“Store is pretty clean, I have not gotten any food that expired. It's a bit high priced for a strict budget, but is very helpful with the specials and coupons.”

“Huge and well stocked. You could practically get everything you needed from the store. It bubbled and had good staffing with fresh foods (fruits and vegetables included).
Unfortunately, they closed down in the wake of the COVID pandemic. Giant has since taken over the facility.
I am certainly one of those who miss this ShopRite store.”

“I come here every morning before work to get a bagel and snacks and Ms. Song will always answer my calls and greet me with such a warm heart. She knew exactly how I liked my bagel I went like a month in half ago and I went today and ask Mr. Moon where is his wife and he told me about her leaving us. May her amazing soul rest in peace. Great grandma and grandpa ❤️”

“I think hands-down this is the best place, mainly because of their best recipe for “Kitfo.” I’ve tried a few of them. I say this to be modest so trust me. Special Kitfo here is worth trying one time, even if you are loyal to other restaurants just so you can see the difference. In general, Services is great, price is OK even though it’s not cheap. They also have a food market in the back so it’s kind of a one stop shop. I’m every day “Kitfo” kind of guy whenever I visit i’m not knowledgeable on other foods they sell.”

“I go to Ssi and it was my first time inside today me and my friend went since I had money but there isn’t a lot of selection of chips to choose from but there’s like a line and someone opening the door because they don’t want anybody stealing so”

“So many great South Asian options and a growing assortment of Southern Indian snacks and foods. My mom has always recommended them for their Halal goat or lamb as they are locally sourced and fresh.”

“Pro: big parking lot, clean environment, self serve lottery machine, lot of self check out machine, Con: always long line at customer service This store had a refresh on the inside a few years ago and still look new upon entering. Parking lot is big with plenty of space. The giant is next to smaller store such as subway and more. There is a lottery machine that is self use. The customer service area is always has long line due to only 1 person working back there. If this giant doesn't work out for you there is another giant by cherry hill shopping area that just open up recently.”

“I love Aldi's affordable grocery prices, including at this location, but they need to broaden their range, especially when it comes to lamb, goat meat, and more vegetables, which limits customers' ability, including mine, to find more diverse items.”

“Joe and Charles are just two of the many employees that are amazing at this location. They always go out of their way to greet you and help you. Ive gone to this Giant for over a decade even worked there at one point. If I would have stayed if it was like how it is now. It's gone through a lot of growing pains over the years, but the team they have right now is over all the best its had.

EDIT: 6/7/2024 - I have to drop this by star after the treatment my disabled mother. I want to make a note - This is absolutely the EVENING crew. The attitudes were absolutely abysmal and straight up rude. I was a little further down the aisle than my mom, but she asked someone for help to which they responded with "Why do you have to ask me that, it's time to go home" and reluctantly stood there as if to stare her down. When my mom explained, it was just snarky comebacks after another before the man walked off to find someone else to help her when I came back and stood there. I would have reported this guy to management, but he wasn't wearing his nametag. Even the person that came to help her had a 'you're inconveniencing me' attitude, but he still did much more to help.

The morning and mid-day crew are amazing, so if you have to go to the store - Try to make it on a time you can go earlier!”

“Very hard to find. The website doesn't tell you they are INSIDE the Rodman's @ Veirs Mill & Randolph. Didn't have Ethiopian Spiced Butter, the only item I needed.”

“I made the choice to come here today as I was already doing some other shopping in the area, might as well get everything done at once, especially with this heat wave.
I can't say I'd come back here, or that I wouldn't. It didn't offer anything that made me say "I have to come back to this location only!" The parking was good, however it is a smaller garage that offers parking which made the spaces a little tight. The elevator going up to the store was hot as Satan's house & had a weird smell to it. Upon entering the store, the lay out was odd to me. I was taken straight into the dairy isle, once passing the pharmacy. I don't know if there was a sewage leak, or something spoiled in the dairy department, but there was a strong lingering odor.
I sent my boyfriend to the produce isle, he came back and said there was an excellent selection. He's extremely picky so if he's saying that, I'll take his word for it.
I did get to check out the freezer department, which I was impressed with. They offered a lot in that particular department that my local safeway does not.
All in all I gave it 4 out of 5 based off the parking, and the few isles I did visit. I also had one interaction with an employee, who was nice. He seemed a little confused at the register but all in all he was able to help me when the time came.”
