Never buy the cut watermellon at this location. It's stored facing the front door. I'm not sure if it's the warm outside air, or it wasn't properly prepared, but I've bought some that was packaged the day I've bought it and it was already spoilt. I've gotten some early in the day that was fine, but never in the evening or night. Also, they never bother cutting the pieces small. Huge chunks the size of the container. Other giants have much better and not spoilt cut watermellon.Update; tried the cut watermellon again 9/1, bought some labeled 9/1 at 12pm. Tried eating it, already tasted like it was going bad. The next day I bought cut watermellon at the randolph/new Hampshire Ave location dated a day old and it was 100% great and delicious. I called the number giant left in the comments, it just goes to a computer run system asking me to decide between options irrelevant to this. How about leisure world giant taste their cut watermellon at 5pm? How about they review their procedures for preparing cut fruit with how the other giants do it, and make some corrections? Thanks

In the last 6 months I have seen a decline at this store. Extremely long lines and employees that do not seem happy, as they argue with each other and elderly customers. Currently only 3 lanes open and atleast 8 carts queued up. Self Check out has limited the number of items which has led to longer lines. I hope this store reviews their process’ and their employee satisfaction so this store can return to the time when it was an enjoyable place to shop.

Sometimes they are short on canned staples but they have a nice organic section,fresh, frozen and canned. Their strength is the staff!! What a great group of cashiers, always willing to help. Customer service is a five!!!

The older lady from Trinidad that works around the self checkout is disgusting. She was flirting with my 14 year old son!!!!!!!!!!

Clean place. A very diverse place. 85% of the employees are willing to help. You may see some messages on the floor helping their employees from time to time. They definitely take care of the elderly customers that come in to shop. They charge for groceries bags, each bag ?️

I like Giant's bright, clean store and ease of shopping with the scanners (when they work), which makes checking out a breeze. The staff that oversees the self check out are very helpful and friendly. They get 5 stars.The meats I will no longer purchase. I had bought $60 of "prime" ribeyes awhile ago, and they were "chew and spit." I should have returned all the meat that was mostly uneaten. I still feel ripped off by that and am still holding a grudge. The meat buyer and provider get 0 stars for quality, which is not the meat dept staff's fault. The meat dept people are very nice and willing to help and answer questions. They keep their cold cases in good order.The pharmacy has its moments. It is quite busy but they do what they can to keep up with customer demand. Josef and the other pharmacist are receptive to questions and concerns. They do a good job at administering vaccines with little pain, too. Cherry is always welcoming and gives a courtesy call when a prescription hasn't been picked up.The Customer Service dept has always been a help to me on the rare occasion I've had to use them.I also like the one aisle of healty, guten free items. It is good to have these things in one place. I find that it is missing some items, though, but they get an A for effort.

Leisure world Giant, wow. People looked at me like I killed their Easter bunny. Just mean and grumpy customers, I don't plan to go back. Store employees were ok.

The customer service in this store is abysmal. I had ten items to check out on a Monday afternoon at 3:30. I don't do self check-out. There were about 30 people waiting to check out and only 3 lanes open. After standing in one line for 5 minutes, the checker came out from behind the register to tell me he was closing and I had to go to another line. I went to one of the other two open lines and waited another 5 minutes because the lady at the front of the line was having some kind of problem. Finally, a supervisor appeared who was in no hurry. She dorked around with the cash register/terminal for several more minutes when the other cashier who had sent me away approached several shoppers waiting in the other line and took them back to his register. I made a bee-line for that other line, without realizing there were already two parties at the register and three more backed up in the isle behind it. That's when I walked out. I will never set foot in a Giant again!

This is the second time here that after paying in full amount in self check out the older tall African man with glasses is lurking like if your a suspect, always up In Your face with all these virus going around and his mouth Oder was just off the hook, not trying to be rude but he assumes everyone is stealing. I had to re scan everything over just because I finished fast , I had to do it fast because my mother and kids were waiting in the car for me when it’s 30 degrees outside.This is a very bad experience this man does this to everyone of color I’ve seen him sneak around you when you are scanning. He needs a security guard job for the government. Very bad look for this lovely place everyone else is nice. Thank you

Constant management changes are a problem. The regular employees do their job in regards to their individual departments, but self checkout and customer service is often lacking in quality.
