Update: We had a few tax questions after our last appointment and Astrid was able to CLEARLY explain what we should do to avoid our situation in the upcoming year. Getting me to understand is no small task but she did. I am so grateful to have found Borges Tax.

At first, I called them inquiring about an estimated price to get my taxes done. Once I gave them the list of documents I would be bringing, they quoted me $175, which was lower than other places that quoted! I arrived there pretty early, about 30 min before my appointment, and sat down in the lobby with other individuals. The only thing I would complain about is the time I had to wait for them to get started on my taxes. I waited about an hour past my appointment time for them to get started. Another individual was waiting with me as well, who also seemed to be there even longer than me. They were very knowledgeable and took the time to explain things when asked! It was easy to connect with them because I am also on the younger scale, which was nice for a change. The person who did my taxes even offered to look over any tax-related documents for when I start my new job to ensure I am completing them correctly since I made a mistake last year, which was very nice! I will be coming back here for sure!

Was able to get an appointment within the week. Have had taxes prepared for years and this is the first time it was done all in the same day. Also, didn't end up owing money so that's always a plus

Surprised about the reviews which paint a completely opposite view to f my experience. I called several days ago - when the opened and was told that the primary contact would be in touch with me by end of day - that was a lie. I did not receive a message back until shortly before 9 pm on Friday. When I called back, I heard automated message saying they are all out on vacation for next couple weeks. It's hard- no - it's impossible to get any kind of decent service from "un"professional tax (experts?) around here. I'm taking my business to Virginia where my friends get good service. I don't trust the reviews here as they don't correspond at all to my experience with borges. Horrible lack of service and availability.

This is the first tax preparation service I have used, and I wasn't disappointed. Free online services were telling us that we owed thousands in taxes, but Borges Tax double checked and found that there were errors in the calculations. They saved us a bunch of money and educated us throughout the process. Definitely recommend them!

These girls really know what their talking about!! I went in with little to no knowledge compared to what they schooled me in. What I thought I knew didn't matter. They were VERY nice and VERY informative!! Astrid took her TIME!! when I say she looked at every possible document and went out of her way to make sure I received as much service as possible.... to say she was amazing would still be and understatement. Dayannie gave me advice and made sure I knew exactly what she was talking about. She looked like she had a lot of work to do but she still took the time to chime in and talk with me. I would recommend Borges Tax to any and everyone. Needless to say, with what I've learned today, I will def be returning for additional services. Thank you ladies!!
