I had to have my car towed in because it wouldn't start, I was told they wouldn't do anything to my vehicle until speaking with me first. I finally get a text saying my car's ready and it would be $165.00, because they did a hard global reset. I called over to where I have my extended warranty to find out why it wasn't covered and they said because basically all they did was unplug my battery and plug it back in and that did the reset. They charged me $165.00 for that, now that's what I call a complete ripoff, they did not need to charge me for that. I spoke to another mechanic at a different dealership after this happening to me and they apologized to me and said they most definitely shouldn't have charged me. I just want everyone to know how they take advantage of customers at Fitzgerald on Baughman's Lane.

Great place to sell a car. This was night-and-day compared to other places where I've had to wait for hours and been treated gruffly. They're friendly and respectful and seem fair-dealing.

James Baker is one of the most incompetent salespeople I’ve ever dealt with. For his age, he should have a good understanding of customer service and communication skills, but he doesn’t.

Martina is the best salesperson I have ever had while purchasing a vehicle. She was able to get me the truck of my dreams from another location and walked me through the sale process. She was very knowledgeable and was able to answer all my questions. Highly recommend Martina and the Frederick Fitzgerald on Baughmans Lane!

Carlington was my man when I came in searching for a new car after my former got totaled in an accident two weeks ago While I was hesitant buying a vehicle in full and wanting to get a good deal, Fitz was very upfront in their pricing and were quite patient with me when I needed to authorize with my bank so I could make the payment. Carlington made sure my new car was clean, gassed up, and even took the time to help me return my rental and drive back to the dealership together. He was short and to the point with the paperwork, explained things in ways that made the most sense, and didn’t try to push anything unnecessary on me. Very personable and friendly service, made the buying process as easy as it could be. Given that I bought my first car at another Fitz location, I trusted them to do right at this one. Thank you!

Hi Neighbors,I just want to share a very good experience buying a car at Fitzgerald Toyota dealership in Gaithersburg. My insurance company also recommends them. They were very helpful, honest, and no sales pressure or up-selling . My particular salesperson was Andrew Murray who I highly recommend but I had the sense that the overall culture of the dealership is very above board. Everyone I dealt with was very professional and courteous.Since car buying can be a stressful experience I just wanted to share this recommendation (Just FYI - I was not asked to do this nor is there any benefit to me for posting this recommendation).Kathy on Live Oak

Overall a great experience! The gentleman that helped me was Paul. He was great and very patient. He was knowledgeable and able to answer all the questions that I had. He also wasn't pushy but was clear in his communication about what all my options were regardless of whether or not I wanted to purchase them. The only negative was that we had to wait for sometime for the financing to go through. Our overall experience was great however, and if you ever go...ask for Paul he was great!

Excellent service, very friendly. Carlos contreras is very efficient and professional.He helped me to get my second car in minutes , he explained to me the whole process in my own Spanish language . I highly recommend Fitzgerald Wheaton.Iam very satisfied. ?

My 5 star experience was due to a recall on my son's car. I was quickly scheduled and was met with pleasant and considerate representatives. They were able tto add in, at reasonable cost, a mirror repair. As the recalled parts were not all there, they considered the hours I traveled and offered me a loaner car. They called a few days later and told me take my time and/or come another day due to icey conditions. Though the ice turned to rain, I really appreciated their kindness.

We bought a great used car here and love the lifetime service plan with coupons every few months. The NextCar in the building is convenient when they can't get your car back to you the same day.

If you enjoy haggling, THE MOST chauvinistic men in the sales area and the worlds rudest receptionist, this is the place for you!! Only gave two stars because Kelly in accounting is great. Otherwise, avoid.

I've been a customer for a year and a halve and I am mostly happy. One thing puzzles me, however: why one needs to book a precise hour for service when that hour is never respected? Other mechanics tend to be more honest saying "Just drop the car and we'll call when ready" or offering a curtesy ride, etc. No such things here, which is frustrating.
