Dear Fitness Club Management,I am writing to express my deep disappointment with the recent changes that have taken place at the gym since the new owners took over. I have been a loyal member since 2015, and I have always appreciated the wonderful customer-oriented approach that the gym had in the past. However, it saddens me to say that the gym has now become solely focused on financial gain, with excessive annual fees, late fees, and an incredibly frustrating cancellation process. Axel, the so called manager I spoke with was extremely unprofessional and shouldn’t be in charge of such an establishment.What has truly been disheartening is the decline in customer service and professionalism. The level of service and professionalism that I once experienced is no longer present. It is evident that the current management is more concerned with their own financial interests than with providing a positive and satisfactory experience for members like myself.After years of being a dedicated member, I have made the difficult decision to end my relationship with the gym. There are numerous other gyms available that are better equipped, have professional staff, and prioritize the well-being and satisfaction of their members. I believe it is important to share my experience and strongly advise others to carefully consider their options before signing up at this gym.I hope that you take this feedback seriously and consider making the necessary changes to restore the gym's reputation as a customer-oriented and professional establishment. I truly hope that future members will not have to endure the same disappointment and frustration that I have experienced.Sincerely,Michael

IF I COULD GIVE THIS GYM 0 STARS I WOULD CUSTOMER SERVICE IS VERY POOR. THE MANAGER SANDRA I BELEIVE HER NAME IS AT THE FRONT DESK HAS A VERY NASTY ATTITUDE. THEY DO NOT TAKE RESPONSIBILTY FOR ANY ERROR THEY COMMIT. ZERO ACCOUNTABILITY. BE CAREFUL IF YOU DECIDE TO GIVE THESE PEOPLE YOUR BUSINESS. THEY WILL CHARGE YOU UNEXPECTED FEES WITHOUT NOTICE AND WILL DO NOTHING ABOUT IT BUT TELL YOU THAT YOU CAN GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.

So. These are the worst people in the world. Top to bottom. Walked in a year ago for a free day pass (most clubs give at least three so you can really get the experience) and was told the owners invest to much money to do so. Chalked it up to the punk that happened to be at the front desk. Tried again recently and was told by Sun that Sandra would tell me the same thing he told me. We adopted the previous owners rules and we will not give you even a day to try our club. This place will go the way of their predecessors. No class at The Fitness Club.

Very High qualified. It provides great equipment, not only that it contains great service as well. They are very respectful, the gym is always clean, neat. And most importantly they make sure the members are always satisfied, they provide great help, equipment. Great trainers, Very motivational. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a gym that is not only looking for a great equipment for working out. But also great place to make friends.

Since the gym has been under new management, it has improved tremendously. I am so impressed of how the owner Sandra and her entire team is doing an amazing job keep the gym clean. I often shower and use the locker room there, and it’s always spotless. Shoutout to Ms. Clementine, who does a great job keeping the place clean, and Ms. Emmy who is always so welcoming in the morning at the front desk! I 100% recommend this gym for all! Keep up the great work Sandra, you are the best!

This hasn't been Fitness Evolution for almost 2 years. It is now The Fitness Club. They have only a few classes. I dropped Fitness Evolution when the pandemic began and am uncertain about joining under new ownership now, especially after looking at some of the reviews posted here.

Fitness Evolution is now "The Fitness Club" it's under "new management" and unfortunately the management isn't any better. Sandra is rude, loud, and unprofessional. The gym has lost members because of her and as a result group class numbers have reduced so much they had to let go of many teachers and thus, not many classes are available. The Parking lot here is horrible and prone to accidents. An empty gym doesn't lie so don't let the staff fool you!

This Gym used to be the finest in the area under leadership of Jeff the previous owner , however do to the covid 19 it when down hill . The new owners have change the policies, without going to details they rep off my wife when she only gave them the right of her debit card for one month and the reason was , because they refuse to take cash at that time, and specifically told them, that the use of her debit card was just for one month payment only..... Because we where going away to Europe. We email Jamie and told him to stop, he claims that he never got our email . However they continue collecting payment while we where away . Upon our return we try to explain everything but he refuse to give her credit even though they knew very well that she wasn't there because of our long trip to our country . We ask the manager Jame Lopez to be reasonable and consulted with the new owner, or please give us their phone number so we can talk to them, but he refuse . Me and my wife we were for 21 years members in good standing, and over those years we have brought so many friends of us to a membership at the club, But is foolish loosing 2 seniors members . I expect a phone call from the new owners to have this mater resolve . With great respect. Billy and Drosia Moschonas .

I've been coming to this "Location" for over 10 years. Believe it or not, never had issues. For the cost of membership, I am DEFINITELY getting my bang for the buck! I find that most members are really helpful. Keep rockin' on guys, great job!

This is hands down the best gym in the silver spring area . Great location, amazing staff and wonderful selection of equipment. If you’re looking for a gym to join, look no further. I have been coming here for a few years and I have never had an issue. The staff is always courteous , helpful and extremely knowledgeable about their equipment , services and readily available to come to your aid in anything fitness related. The members are respectful and considerate of one another and it’s never super packed to the point that you have to wait around for equipment to free up. I actually look forward to coming to the gym and getting my sweat on because the atmosphere is so nice. Its 100% worth it!

Called Fitness Evolution on 8/29 to freeze my membership for three months which the receptionist gladly took care of. On 9/3 I saw a membership charge for the month of September so I called for an explanation. The receptionist explained that this is payment for when the account is unfrozen. Now today on 10/4, I see ANOTHER membership charge for the month of October. I called Fitness Evolution and the manager explains that this is correct and it is because I didn’t pause one month before. So at this point, I have been charged for Sept and Oct while my gym membership is frozen. I will be canceling TODAY, all of this is ridiculous. I have phone call logs for proof of dates when I called Fitness Evolution and will be speaking with the manager.

I am surprised at some of the negative comments since I feel they improved greatly since management changed. I would have agreed that it was kinda unfriendly to those not with the "in crowd" before Jamie took over. All the fit beautiful people working out there may be intimidating to some, but since I came back after the lockdown I noticed a much more welcoming climate there. I am not a regular but the staff made the effort to remember my name, and make a point to ask how I'm doing. That means a lot to me, and shows a since of gratitude for their clients.

This place is grate the trainers here are very nice and respectful. They also motivate you to help you reach the goal that you desire. This gym is very fun and amazing to go to I’m glad I chose this gym. They are very supportive and better than all the other gyms I’ve been in this the best.

Very disappointed in their customer service. Daughter is a college student, and told them. Was given a month to month and notified them on 8/5 that she would be leaving. In addition to charging $29.99 for the month to month for August , they now just charged an additional $39.99!!! Not sure what that is for. I called to have it removed and they said she had to cancel a month in advance.....still not sure what the $39.99 is for. My husband has belonged for 15 years and son also belongs....they would not waive the fee!!! Think I will suggest my son and husband join another gym!!!
