Steve and his team did a fantastic job refinishing our floors. Just what they needed after 22 years in our home. The work was done over the weekend - we came home to beautiful refinished floors, no mess and fresh molding throughout. Competitive prices and great service!

The Elegant floor staff at my home were professional and courteous. Were very careful moving any furniture in their way. It has been years since they polished my marble foyer floors and I am about to call them again to clean and polish once more.

I don't know what going on with these folks...they laid LVP in our home.Paid the bill in full online.When I got home i noted a few areas that still need to be fixed...like some plank edging that needed to be nailed down better...as it was sticking up. And some of the floor vents no longer able to fit the vents that we there before the flooring was laid.I sent multiple emails and pics of all the areas....to both Steve and Evan, for the past week. And haven't received any response to my questions / concernsI had been emailing them to fix the edging...and also asked if they might have a solution for the vent covers.I am feeling that since they got paid...they no longer need to communicate with us concerning the job....even though there were still areas that needed to be fixed.

Elegant Floor has a great store. There are a lot of choices and can suit any budget. They are knowledgeable and professional. They cleaned up our messy basement by laying new flooring and repainting all the walls. This is the go-to company for hardwood floors. I had a tricky stairway and landing project that they did beautifully. Their estimate was far lower than their competitors. They even replaced some subfloor and made it solid. No more squeaky floors! They tried 3 different examples to find the perfect color match and finished on time. I can't thank them enough for the nice work. I would recommend this company to anyone.

They did a nice job installing new hardwood floors in our guest bedroom. They were very quick. Contract was signed Friday, wood delivered Monday, work on Thursday to Sat. One week start to finish.
My main issue is we tried to match the color to our existing hardwood floors and it was a miss. I now have a room with hardwood significantly lighter than the hallway.
When I reached out to them they said not much they can do. They are very communicative during the sales process and quieter after the contract is signed. There were a few spots that could use fixing the company never replied back to me on after I sent pics. For new hardwood installation I would recommend them for their speed and fair pricing. If you are going to try to match to an existing color have them bring samples so you can try to match before the wood is delivered and work is done.

After resolving an initial issue with dust collection, Elegant Floors completed the job extremely well. We had originally gotten estimates to replace the floors, but the cost of refinishing was considerably less, and our 35-year-old oak floors look brand new again! Elegant Floors was the only contractor that suggested replacing the heating registers with flush-mount, which gives a very finished look. The crew was professional, cleaned up every day, and did outstanding work. BTW, dust turned out to be a non-issue; their standard system left very little dust upon completion of the job.

We hired this company to do hardwood floor sanding and refinishing. The gentleman who came to review the project was extremely engaging and professional. After signing the contract and the work began, the quality of the relationship and interactions with the company significantly changed.The men doing the work initially did two of the five rooms. We were told that they would return the following afternoon to replace the furniture in those two rooms. They did not show up and no reasonable explanation was provided. After the work was completed, I noticed a small splintered area in one of the rooms. I believe this was done by the heavy sanding machine because the referenced area was covered by an area rug (for years) with an ottoman sitting on top of the rug. I called the company to inquire about a product or filler that could be used inasmuch as the area was so small. I also sent a picture of the area. The information sheet provided by the company addressed splintered boards so my call was to get the name of a specific product that perhaps we could use.My photo and request for follow up was forwarded to Steve (owner). He responded, in part, that they would not undertake repairs that were not called out in the proposal unless we inspected the floors after the sanding and agreed to an upcharge. I had no problem with the company's position in this regard. The problem that I had was the intractable position that the owner took in the final statement of his email to me that "We certainly didn't create it" referring to what he called a "defect' in the floor. I responded that this was not an issue with this particular floor for the reasons stated above. I also questioned his insistence that they did not cause the issue because he was not on site.I asked again for the name of a product if he knew of one. Otherwise, I would ask a professional. His response was to "consult a professional" noting that he only had 18 years of experience. He did not provide the name of a product.The owner apparently took issue with my saying that I would ask a "professional" about a product. Apparently, he is of the opinion that doing a job for a number of years is all that is required of a professional.Behaving in a civil and courteous manner is inherent in being a professional. I was disappointed by my interactions with the owner throughout this project. I found him unduly inflexible and completely lacking in the most rudimentary of customer service skills.

We moved into a house that had wood flooring in the master bedroom but stained carpeting in the guest bedrooms. The house was fifteen years old but I wanted wood flooring in the guest rooms. They came out when they said they would, measured, provided an in depth quote within a day, and we signed a contract. We were put on the calendar for the next week and the professionalism - especially cleaning up everyday before they left was greatly appreciated. The flooring was a bit more matt than the rest of the wood in the hallway so they immediately came back and put an extra coat of polyurethane down - no questions asked. They also did an amazing job putting down luxury vinyl plank in our downstairs gym and working with our contractor to work around the painting etc. phenomenal experience and extremely professional.
