When I come to Silver Spring this is my go-to hotel. The breakfast is great. Is one of the few hotels I know of in the area that has a full breakfast. The price on the breakfast is recently went up but it's worth it they upgraded a few things and it's gotten a bit nicer in a few more menu items. The staff is helpful and the chocolate chip cookies are to die for. As far as what you're here for the rooms are great clean. They're not much more you can ask for in a hotel

I was staying at other Hilton properties in Downtown DC until the rates went up due to March activities, so I tried this hotel - this is a great place to stay. The rooms are great; plenty of eating and shopping places nearby, and the Metro is a 7 minute walk. The only downside is the towels - they are horrible - not soft at all - very brittle. I'm staying there for another 4-6 weeks, so this will be the one downside to an otherwise great hotel.

Bruce at front desk is a liar. I asked for a late checkout at 1 and he said “there’s no late checkout today” he didn’t even offer 12. We called again and someone else picked up and we asked for a late checkout and they offered 12. Bruce is a straight up liar and he is bad for your establishment.

I stayed here for a funeral with my family in a king suite with 2 sofa beds just a few days ago. The service was pleasant, everyone working there was very nice but the hotel left a lot to be desired. The garage has a low ceiling with a bunch of low hanging pipes. There’s a section to park trucks and higher vehicles but you have to drive through the lower part to get to it and there are not a lot of parking spots for high vehicles to park. For context, we were in a Tahoe, and it was an arduous ordeal. Not only all of that, but there is construction going on outside the hotel which makes leaving it difficult. There is a VERY small pick up and drop off area in front of the hotel that is not convenient. The room had an odd layout. The first sofa bed is in the sitting area where there is a mini fridge (no microwave), a non-smart tv that you are not even able to cast your iPad on, and a large and very heavy coffee table directly in front of where the sofa bed will pull out. There was one bathroom with wasted space where a coffee and tea kettle are instead of where a helpful 2nd sink would be so that people wouldn’t have to wait for someone to get out of the bathroom to do normal things like wash their hands, face or brush their teeth. The second sofa bed was in the room w/ the King sized bed. It was also blocked from folding out by another enormous coffee table. The room was neat when we first checked in but not fit for 4 ppl as advertised since it didn’t have any of the extra bedding or towels needed. It seems like the suite wasn’t actually designed for 4-6 ppl as originally advertised. While this hotel was booked mainly as necessity, I have made a mental note to not book it again for more than 2 ppl.Rooms: I mentioned this but the layout of the room was odd. There were constant obstacles and inconveniences. For that suite, it definitely needed 2 sinks and more than 2 garbage cans (one in the bathroom and one under the desk). The huge heavy coffee tables were unnecessary, especially since they blocked the pull out couches. And the desk was positioned directly across from the bed, resulting in an awkward scooting every time someone had to walk by.Safety: With the construction going on around the hotel, I can’t say it was very safe whether driving or walking. Everything was hindered by that construction which even had an alarm go off for hours on end and no attempt to turn it off was made.

Great hotel that was located about 8-12 miles from major attractions in the city. It’s very reasonable and clean and the rooms were very spacious. The check in was fast and efficient. They have the best cookies that are freshly made when you check in. The bed was comfortable and the room clean.

This is a very upscale hotel. It has a nice market downstairs with many options and the rooms are big and spacious. It is also very luxurious and has parking available downstairs as well.

I was quite happy with my stay at this hotel. They were able to accommodate an early check-in (Bruce at the front desk was very helpful) and the room was clean and comfortable. The water pressure in the shower is high, which is fantastic after a long day. I enjoyed breakfast in the restaurant each morning, and the buffet had a decent offering of breakfast foods for $19. The lobby is a nice place to work in during the day and turns into a bar/lounge area at night. The hotel is located in a convenient area with lots of shops, restaurants and movie theaters.Walkability: Within walking distance of many restaurants, shops and entertainment.
