We arrived at 8:15pm , the lady at the counter was giving us dirty looks. The store hours are opened until 9pm on Google and their door. At 8:27pm both of the lady’s came to us and said “We’re closing, hurry up” & we told them that was very rude of them and they told us to hurry up again. Never coming again!

Pro: big parking lot, variety of items. Con: not everything is a dollar, small walk aisle, no returns. One of many supposedly "Dollar store" named stores but not all items sell for 1 dollar. The parking lot is big so no issue there. The inside is very small so it hard to even walk down the aisle if someone else is already there, then it become cramp. No return policy so better buy with confidence and you have to spend atleast 5 dollar to use a credit card. They do have a wide selection of items. All in all, an ok to shop at if it close to where you live.

They have a decent selection of merchandise here. they used to sell bamboo plants but no longer do so that was a little disappointing. I was able to get some very nice quality bath mats for a decent price compared to Walmart.

So this isn't a true "Dollar Store" where everything is a dollar, but still might be cheaper than other places. I was nearby and l decided to stop in. I'm sure I've been in here before but I don't remember it being so junky. There were literally products on the floor! I found what I needed and I was out. I wouldn't necessarily go out of my way to come here. I noticed some things I get from the beauty supply store but it wasn't much cheaper here. There's a $5 minimum for cards!

Do not fall for it this is not a dollar store. They have plenty of Dollar Store items and their placed at 2 and $3. I went out of my way to go to this place and it was not in fact a dollar store.

This is another location I Like In The White Oak Shopping Center . This is Dollar City Store . It has a huge private parking area . Inside contains racks of sodas and refrigerators filled with cold drinks . It has a good cashier station in front with the best cashier that Silver Spring , Maryland has to offer . It has shelves full of great stuff such as notebooks , kitchen supplies, snacks , vases , pens and pencils , school supplies , sunglasses , beauty care, and so much more . They have great customer service here that is attentive , helpful , knowledgable , considerate , professional , inviting , welcoming , And friendly . I love picking up wafers and notebooks , sodas and all at this place and i Hope to return there someday soon when not so busy . This is a great place to get the stiff you like here and if this is one of your favorite hangouts then this is the place for you . So come on down to the Dollar City Store And get an experience you will not soon forget . They look forward to seeing and doing business with you all very soon . Best dollar store I ever been to.They don’t sell everything for $1.00 but very reasonable prices.Store is always cleaned. Staff is very helpful.

2 stars because I was able to find what I needed- a laundry bag and a door mat. I checked my credit card statement 2 days later and found I had been charged twice for the same amount. I called and was told the owner would not be back in for several days and that I would have to come back in with the physical receipt in order to get a refund. I told them I could just email them a photo of it because I was not able to come back in conveniently. I was then told by the woman on the phone that they wouldn't accept that, and that they'd have to check all their records and security cameras after I came in with the physical receipt in order to verify everything. I told them that was a bunch of nonsense, and to have the owner call me. He never did, and so I had to dispute the charge with my bank who reversed the extra payment right away thankfully. Looks like based on the other reviews here though, I'm not the first person to have this experience at this place.
