Terrible customer service. Hour long waits on hold to speak to the pharmacist are normal.

This is by far the worst pharmacy in the area. Most of the pharmacists are rude and unhelpful and if you need to call them to discuss a prescription, heaven forbid. I end up holding for an hour at a time and sometimes they just hang up on you after you've been holding. When they do come on the phone they keep talking over you. I've decided there is no need to stick with this pharmacy when there are so many others looking for your business. I'm taking mine elsewhere.

Customer service is garbage here. Pharmacist is a fucking joke. Wrong profession indeed. I agree with all the negative reviews here - DO NOT USE THIS PHARMACY.They couldn't care less about your heath. Don't have your meds? WELL THATS TOO DAMN BAD.They only create problems with ZERO solutions. You can feel the bitter, indifferent and lethargic energy as you approach the counter.Sad.

The staff in this store are incredibly unprofessional. They need customer service training. badly Nasty and confrontational. Just what one wants from a pharmacist. Especially Lauren Waterford. She needs people skills training. I told her I was in pain but that made no difference to her. Nasty. Wrong profession for this one. This store lives up to the bad reputation that all cvs pharmacies have.

Your attitude toward customer service is atrocious and negatively affects your brand. You made my wife cry today, it was so bad. CVS pharmacists Daniel and Saida at 9520 Georgia Avenue, Silver Spring, MD refused to help resolve a miscommunication with the doctor's office, who mistakenly sent the prescription to another pharmacy. Daniel and Saida were rude, arrogant, impatient, and unprofessional. They refused to make any helpful phone calls, refused to consider creative solutions, and even refused to allow my wife to stand at the pharmacy window (even though there were no other customers) while she made a phone call to the doctor's office to sort things out. CVS pharmacists Daniel and Saida told my wife that they work very hard, from 7:00 am until 4:00 pm, and that is no doubt true. But that is no excuse for their rude, insensitive, uncaring behavior. They had no patience or empathy. They refused to help my wife as a fellow human being trying to get critical medicine for her family. They evinced no sympathy, no concern, no feelings at all. Are they truly in the business of providing health care to people in need? They should be ashamed. And they should look for another line of work. Overall, this was one of the absolute worst customer service experiences in our lives

They close for a hour long lunch and don't have anything about it on the website. They are not friendly and need new staff.

The pharmacists and staff are super helpful. The try hard and spend time trying to help people afford their prescriptions. It might be a little dingy and pharmacy struggles to be highly ‘customer centered’ because they are busy helping providing a vital service to the community.

Don't use the pharmacy at this CVS. They know nothing about customer service. I put in my prescription request via their phone system. The system assured me my anti-seizure medicine would be ready that day by 6pm with a confirming call. By 630, I started calling both by in-person and thru their voice system. I was on hold for a total of 1 hour!! They picked up twice-once to hang up on me and once to say "please hold". Finally, I decided to go in person while still being on "hold". I walk in on myPhone- being on hold- and their two pharmacy employees have no customers and seem to be milling around. I voice my complaint-No apologies, no concern. I state my prescription request. They have no record!! They say- did you call in and talk to someone? I shout- you all don't answer the phone! He says when do you want it- i say tonight. He informs me that they are closing-- it's 30Min til closing and not one other customer waiting to be helped. Finally, he says they won't honor the GOOD RX card-- making my $29 medicine into $189. I finally complain to the manager and will Remove my prescription from this CVS to another one. At no time- did they even attempt To correct their poor customer service. Save your stress and go somewhere else. They are terrible

The CVS pharmacy with the lowest customer service. They don't even attempt at being service oriented to customers. Whenever I call it's so difficult to get a hold of someone. Even if they pick up they put you on hold. They count on you to hang up when they have placed you on hold! Constantly on wait for more than 10 mins to check if they have a prescription in stock. Speaking of, they never have many drugs in stock. Why even bother to have a pharmacy at this location!?

I’ve never been treated so poorly at a CVS location. I wait almost 25 mins for a COVID-19 test. I had to get out of my car to go inside for anyone to help and once I got inside an Indian lady with a long braid in her hair, threw her hands and and walked away from me. Such poor treatment

The pharmacy is completely dysfunctional. The staff places your phone calls "on hold" for 30 minutes and then drops your call. (I've had this happen several times on the very same day. Why keep trying? Because you never visit the pharmacy without calling ahead.) They neglect to tell you that they do not have what a doctor has prescribed for you after telling you the prescription will be ready in 2 hours. They misplace orders. They take 4-6 hours to fill a prescription they claim will take less than 2 hours to fill. While pharmacologically competent, the staff does not seem to care about how they treat their customers. If I had another pharmacy to go to, I would. Do not plan on spending less the an hour any time you visit the pharmacy. It really is disgraceful. The non-pharmacy part of the store is good, as is the non-pharmacy staff.

The pharmacist Daniel and staff are excellent. And agreed that it's unforgivable that CVS hadn't even hired a present security officer after robbery of the pharmacy. Puts both the staff and customers at risk.
