We absolutely LOVE Maedot. We highly recommend her for geriatric care. She kind, thorough, patient, and smart. Dr. Walker was rushed and bed side manner could use some work.

Beware of the billing practices in this office. They will bill your insurance for procedures that aren't performed, expect you to pay the copay, and then threaten collection. I went for a physical (100% covered by insurance). When I checked in they gave me a forms to fill out. Turns out one of the forms was 10 questions about depression (never told them I was depressed or needed to see my doctor about depression). During my physical the form was never mentioned and the practitioner didn't mention depression. Turns out they charged my insurance for the physical and for a separate doctor visit for depression examination. My insurance paid them almost an extra $100 and I had to pay them almost $20 out of pocket. Stay away from this fraud.

I wanted to support a female owned business. I’m very disappointed. After my first appointment with the NP she never responded to me again. The front desk says to use the portal, I wrote 5 very polite, specific emails - not one was replied to or acknowledged. They want everything to be a televisit so they can charge for it. The man at the front desk is unprofessional, thinks he has all the answers and is rude. What a disappointment. They push only what they can bill for. I never met a doctor just an np. The owner ought to write to her portal and call for help to see how poor the response is. RUN!

The staff that work in that office are wonderful. My physician and the medical practitioners, technicians, and assistants were kind, professional, and very knowledgeable about their field. I haven’t visited a general practitioner’s office in a long time; however, after finding this practice, it’s easy listening and taking their advice because I trust and follow their guidance and referrals. I would recommend their practice to anyone since their customer service is AWESOME! Thank you!

Today it took 25 minutes on hold to make an appointment. I was getting dressed to just walk in because it would have been quicker, but I doubt that would have worked. Friendly suggestion: please give the caller an estimated wait time.

The best doctors and women’s care in Silver Spring. The office is clean and inviting, and the staff is very courteous and knowledgeable about all women’s health issues and concerns.

I was very pleased with this practice. The staff are friendly and courteous and the Doctors are very knowledgeable and informative. The suite for the waiting is actually very therapeutic to sit and wait to be seen. Every time I walk into this practice it smells good, it is clean and comfortable.

I have been a customer since 2012 and it is very unfortunate to close the relationship. Reasons why I am moving onto another practice and would recommend others to visit elsewhere,1. They do not provide proper assessment during physical exami.e - I had to call 4 times to find the status of my labwork and next steps and when visiting the office, they were unable to locate labwork2. They do not give proper referrals for specialisti.e - I was referred to someone who is retired and to a specialist that is unavailable for months3. They never have in-person appointments, they will either recommend a virtual visit (as a way to collect co-pay) or to see a nurse practitionerWARNING: When visiting nurse practitioner, they are so busy and not knowledgeable that they hardly ask any questions and moves on to the next patient. Example: the nurse practitioner came in, told me she would look into my labwork, left and never back in the room.All in all, very disappointed in their service and would not recommend to anyone.

Hostile, very unhelpful non understanding staff, doctor and staff lost my results and information multiple times wanting me to go out get another copy somehow of it although they lost it. always beware of sneaky fees, rarely call back, more than an hour long wait inside dr beverly and kaplan office, had to look for someone because they forgot about me, staff will refuse to help and hear, i have been treated badly for all my visits and im changing doctors.

Clinic staff very poor. they had me waiting in the room for over an hour as they forgot I was in there - when it takes a minute to do the exam. Poor communication as well. They do not pick up the phone as they put you on hold for 30 minutes. They are VERY inconsiderate of your time

Dr. April Walker is extremely professional while being a compassionate physician. She was thorough during my exam and explained everything to me very well. I left feeling that all of my questions were answered. Lovely front desk staff, and Dr. Walker’s nurse was courteous and warm.I highly recommend Dr. Walker and this practice to anyone. Great care and a friendly environment!

I was greeted warmly and professionally. My doctor was Dr. AprilWalker. She was very thorough during my exam. She really listened to me and talked me through my exam. I could tell she was very knowledgeableand she did'nt discount any of my concerns. I was very pleased.

I liked the practitioner I saw here at first, but she left. Today I saw someone who was 30 minutes late for the virtual appointment, no acknowledgement or apology, didn't ask me how I felt or show any particular concern that I have Covid and am unable to sleep, and refused to fill my prescriptions. Offered me another prescription that is not indicated for my complaint, and without asking me anything about my history with that medication or possible contraindications. Will be looking for another practice. Seems to be high turnover. Front desk staff are very nice.

It seems the doctors don't stay long and the doctors who do stay (Walker) have poor patient skills. Lack of empathy, rush through physicals and don't listen. I will be looking for a new doctor.
