This Avis location has become my go to for car rentals. They always have cars when you make a reservation, unlike some other local places. The customer service is great. They are professional, courteous, and community oriented. Also, the huge amount of plants they have inside just makes happy.

This place is a joke, woman in the office had me drive hours away from where I live, telling me if I came in they would rent me the car. I got all the way to the office just to be told I wasn’t able to. Would never suggest this place at any locations

I tried and failed to pick up a car I had reserved and prepaid for months in advance. They don't seem to know what they have available or reserved. I would not attempt to rent from this location again, unfortunately.

It was nice to have a neighborhood car rental, instead of having to go to busy airport. The rental staff were efficient and friendly. There were no problems picking up or dropping off.

Do not come to this location, horrible experience. I made a reservation to pick up a car. We pre paid and completed pre heck and I checked all the requirements on their location website that they do take debit card from major visa or Mastercard (which it was). Only for when it came to pick up the car they told us they did not accept debit only credit cards and that essentially it’s not their problem. Which was incorrect according to the type of car and it was a normal debit card not prepaid. We paid the 300 deposit so it did not make sense that they refused to take the card but at the time of the online reservation it stated the card was accepted They refused to refund the money they told us we had to call .which I made sure to. Do since Avis will charge a 150 no show fee if you cancel within 24hours. The person I spoke to seem to be in a rush while I was trying to gather the confirmation number of the reservation stating they can only be on hold for 2minutes.they stated our refund will come back to card in 3-10 business day. Which is upsetting because we are going into a holiday weekend for which we need the car for.Also they did the same thing to another customer at the time we had this problem

Love this location! Small, local neighborhood location that truly feels like a family when going in for a rental. As a President's Club Plus member, they truly make me feel valued each and every interaction I have with them. Great management and it resonates with the employees!

I chose this location per not trusting one in DC city area to have my car. Worked out great, super smooth and the young lady running that location absolutely crushes it. I dont know if she gets time for lunch because it appeared nobody else knew what they were doing so she was doing everything. Super nice and efficient, got like 5 groups out in less than an hour which is a feat if you know car rentals. Give that girl a raise !!! Oh and car was nice, almost new, no issues and dropped off in another state. Not the nicest location or storefront but it works.

Honestly disappointed in my rental experience. Despite a very friendly agent, I had a lot of issues because my rental was over 30 days. Despite having prepaid for the entire 30+ day rental at the outset, I ended up being charged extra upon return because my rate had changed because I had an “upgraded” car that I didn’t ask for, and a refuel charge even though I returned the car with a full tank. I also seemed to have been charged for the deposit twice. Really a headache situation that now will lose me time trying to sort this out with customer services. If there are additional charges or if daily rates change this should really be communicated immediately to the client.

The staff members of Avis at 619 Sligo avenue silver spring location on front desk were very friendly they helped us through the phone with every question . the car was very clean and in good condition l recommend to anyone who wants a car rental to rent from Avis?thanks again.

If there was a lower rating, I would have given this branch of Avis that. So, I made an online reservation for a Corolla and paid for an expensive Uber just to get there to be told the car was unavailable. Again, I was made to wait for a long time with no solution. Why should anyone be made to go through this? They have left me stranded!
