This organization helps the community with food distribution, clothes, diapers, classes and supplies. This is a great place to volunteer. A lot of effort goes into taking care of people.

Good source of help for community in need at hardship times. Great location to donate without many requirements as other entities.

I only come to collect food because I need no work, but the people who deliver the food are very bad, they speak badly of us, they treat us badly and they scold us. just out of necessity comes one but too bad that these people are not here doing this with a good heart

Know the terrific people who are upfront helping and those who relentlessly work in the background. One of the few places I know my giving will make a difference at this critical time.

Calling to set up food pick up for emergency food, Black woman answered the phone several times and just hangs up on you. Then finally she picks up and says call back in 10 minutes and hangs up again. Extremely unprofessional. She should not be working in community service if she is not empathetic to people. Very very bad. People should not be treated this way.

This is a friendly place for donations. I have never found the employees "surly," as the previous review suggests. Note that it's only open Mon-Thurs 9-4, and that donations are around back. They do other kinds of social services in the office through the main glass doors. To make donations, drive around to the unloading area at the back right and ask for help (knock on the metal door). Here's their description: "serves TP/SS families in need with food, clothing and house ware assistance, as well as various workforce skill trainings. ACSGW will gladly take donations of clothing, shoes, accessories, linens, small appliances, kitchen/household items, toys, home décor, books, flat screens, and laptops (less than 5 years old). No furniture, child car seats, strollers, printers, and nonworking items. If a donation receipt is required drop off must be M-Th 9-4 at 501 Sligo Ave. Clothing and small items can be placed in the blue collection box at 501 Sligo Ave or behind Sligo Adventist Church on Greenwood."

Our kids are attending private swimming class at this location, kids really enjoyed the class as well as coach Anna (She is a wonderful Swiming teacher!)! However, the lifeguards at the pool is not very professional. They are very good with lay out the rules but very rude towards others. Our kids were being shouted at, my elderly parents were terrified! Luckily manager Ms Joyce stopped by and chatted with me, it definitely helped me understanding the “do” & “don’t”! It’s nothing wrong to lay out the rules but please!! calm down (especially in front of the kids!). let’s discuss the issues in peace with professional manners! At last, this is a family environment! We are planning to keep our private lessons with coach Anna, and pause on purchasing our memberships, and definitely with a bitter vibe of this place...
