I had an issue with an appliance I bought from ABW. They came quickly and fixed the problem. They’re very efficient about keeping you posted on when to expect the service person to arrive, and their people are very careful (shoe covers) and polite. They make it easy.

Got a new 48” Jen Air fridge delivered to replace an 8 month old fridge that was not cooling properly. Guys did a great job swapping the refrigerators out. Thanks Danielle for getting us the new fridge quickly.

Abysmal. Warning you DO NOT shop here! We ordered all new appliances for a kitchen remodel and the order was never placed. Each month we were assured it was advancing, yet 4 months later after order when it was time for install ABW said the order had actually never been placed. We are still waiting for any item to arrive, yet there is no communication. Meanwhile they've cashed an over $8K check from us and had the money for the 4 months since order placed. Again...I warn you, DO NOT shop here!

When you're are buying your appliances, the service is wonderful. When you are trying to get those fancy appliances serviced, it's not.
My microwave was emitting an awful, burning smell when in use, so I called and a tech came out to diagnose the problem. He said that I needed a part (that was very pricey) and told me I'd get an email. I did, w/ an invoice: they make you pay for parts and labor ahead of repair, telling you that they'll be in touch when your part comes in to schedule service. Weeks pass, so finally I call them, and it's all "oh, noone called you?" and we schedule the repair. Then the techs come out, put the new part in, and when they test it out, there's a horrible burning smell -- "Is that new?" they ask! No, that's the original complaint, and I need a completely different part. So I start the process all over again, and the same thing happens: I order the part, weeks pass, I call, "Oh, noone called you?" and now my microwave that I first called about IN JANUARY is scheduled to be repaired the first week in JUNE.
So, to recap:
1. Misdiagnosed the original problem.
2. Succeeded in charging me hundreds of dollars.
3. Failed to get in touch with me either time the part I'd ordered had come in.
Terrific selection and sales team, lousy service department.
UPDATE: So, when they came out and put in the second expensive part in, the smell was STILL there, and they discovered that the ACTUAL problem was that a casing around the lightbulb had melted and that was causing the smell. I needed yet another part and a 4th service visit! June 14 this saga finally concluded. ABW has refunded some (but not all!) the money I forked over for the parts I didn't need and the "diagnosis" that they did not provide.

ABW's service rep was great He fixed the problem, gave us great advice and then took steps to make our cooktop and oven work better than when we first purchased it.
