“In Hagerstown we don't have a Food Lion unfortunately, so I drive to Falling Waters and it is worth the trip. Good specials and friendly cashiers. Best place for orchids. I had to get mine elsewhere, because they were sold out of them here.”

“The people here are incredibly friendly. They have people to check you out with your purchases who are friendly and help you. They have great deals with the Food lion card. I saved a lot of money going there and even got Home style Campbell's soup on special for a dollar a can! The employees even offered to help us with our groceries even though it was snowing when we there. They even told us to be safe. It was so friendly and welcoming there. I now stop on sometimes when I go see my father. Great store”

“What a great place! They had the most beautiful mum's in every color imaginable at a great price back in the Fall and I just bought a gorgeous spruce tree there for Christmas. Owners are amazing and so very attentive to helping their customers in any way they can.”

“Community Garden Market is a nice little specialty shop. Unless you have a VERY limited diet and a good amount of money you are not going to do your weekly shopping here, but that is not what it is for. Check it out and then get ice cream next door.”

“Had lunch there today, awesome litte hole in the wall corner store. Great homemade sandwiches, the pastrami is delicious! Reminds me of a store in the Andy Griffith Show or something ?”

“Very competitive prices, reasonably good quality on the produce despite slightly reduced total selection compared to some groceries. Staff has been quietly polite and professional in my experience. Clean and reasonably well stocked / presented most days.

Main constructive feedback is since it’s a college town and somewhat more trendy / open minded community for the area, you’d expect WAY more vegetarian options. Very few Morningstar / Impossible options.”

“I love Aldi for just about everything my family needs. I save money by buying in bulk and avoiding trips for only one or two items. I love the selections they offer and have rarely if ever been disappointed by any of the brands sold in this store. There is a great selection, so check out the coffee, canned food, and frozen food also. In my opinion, they are just as good as the more expensive brands that have been around for years. They have lower prices on real maple syrup and olive oil, cereal, soups as well as staples like rice and flour. There are non food household items available for good prices that are worth a look. Many of the holiday goodies offered here make nice gifts for family and friends. This is a fairly new location. It's clean and well kept in a safe area with lots of parking available. I have always had enjoyable shopping experiences here, and the cashiers work hard to move people through quickly. Their lines move very fast, so dont be discouraged if you see people checking out in only one or two lines. They are very good at getting help up front fast to keep lines down. It's one of the reasons I return again and again for groceries at this store. There is plenty of parking, and I have always felt safe. There are fast food, gas stations, and large chain stores close by as well as restaurants. Exits for route 70 East and West are very close. Clean well lit, well stocked.”

“I really like Dollar General for quick stops for medicine and snacks. Prices are better here than at grocery stores. I'm finding soda and candy prices to be high lately. I did not find prices here to be lower on those items at all with the exception of the dollar candy selection. Lots of choices are available and you can find almost any candy you are looking for. This is a great place for stocking up in those cold winter months on soup, vegetables and baking items. Shop early for Thanksgiving to save the most money. I enjoyed my shopping today. The temperature inside is usually too hot for me cutting my trip short but was comfortable on this day. Friendly service and smiles from Julie concluded my time here. Thank's for providing convenient, close, low cost items to local shopper's. Check out the dollar isle for some National brands at great prices!”

“I got gas here. My Car is still working, so I guess the gas was good. Will update if there are future problems with this gas. Also, I used their window squeegee to clean my bumper. The bugs came right off!”

“Just left the store and had to come to Google reviews to praise this location. The warmest of greetings and smiles here from multiple employees. I never felt so welcomed at any other convenience store. Well done !”

“Very kind employees :) I am always nervous in public but they were so kind it made me want to go there more often -- I had only stopped by to get some last-minute stuff for a Halloween party.”

“This store has just as much to offer as a small market, however my last trip the air conditioning was broken and the freezers were not working either. I felt bad for the cashier and told her so.”

“I worked 33 yrs in retail food. This store from the management down to parcel pickup do it right. Always clean, the meat case is well stocked with a good selection. You don't smell the fish dept because of how they merchandise and freshness. Weis has the best store bakery in the business. Pharmacy is great and the cashiers do it right every time. They may be the only store in town, but they don't act like it. It's good customer service. Each satisfied family is worth 10k a year in sales. A friendly smile, welcome and thank you go a long way.”

“This spot is my back up spot if I’m in the area. The cashiers here are always nice to me. Store is a bit tight as far as space. Nice store over all for a good snack run.”

“I changed to Weis Pharmacy a few months ago, and wish I had done so sooner. The Pharmacists and Pharmacy Techs are wonderful. They always follow through with renewal when a prescription is out of refills, unlike my previous pharmacy. Also, I have saved a ton of money with the same prescriptions. I was being fleeced at the previous pharmacy. Thank you for all you do.”

“Very organized, the only thing I sometimes don't understand is why they close most of the self-payment lines and there are long lines of people waiting to pay. It has happened to me on several occasions at that same location.”

“It is a great store if you want to get something quick. It is understaffed, but they do their best to keep the store clean and safe. I personally find it easier to get into compared to other stores of similar sizes. It is far from most other stores which makes it great if you are just passing by and want a quick snack or need something specific.”

“A very nice grocery store! 1. outstanding produce section. The freshness is top quality. That's one of the most important criteria for me in choosing a grocery store.2. Seafood department. They have a surprisingly good dejection of fresh fish at a competitive price. They host a food truck that sells fresh steamed crabs a few times during the summer. 3. May department. They offer grass fed beef cuts at very good prices...often very close to their regular beef prices. 3. General grocery aisles. They have most of the same things you'd find at any chain store. Prices here are generally 10percent higher than you'd find at other area chains like Giant or Harris Teeter. 4. They offer a fairly decent senior discount. On Tuesdays seniors can get 10% off all store brand products. Pretty nice. 5. They offer a Shopper rewards program that can be used reduce the price of a gas fill up (they have a gas station on site that charges a price that's similar to the Sheetz next door. Seasonally you can use points to get free holiday turkeys or hams. One unspoken benefit to earn extra points...if you take they'reTheir online satisfaction survey, you earn 100 bonus points... up to once ever 7 days...in addition to the points you earn from your purchase. So you can earn quite a few points even if all you buy is a bottle of soda each week.6. Super friendly and helpful staff. I can honestly say that customer service here is among the best of any grocery store in the area... not saying that the others aren't good, but the staff here is just super helpful.Overall this Weis is gradually winning my loyalty over the stores I usually shopped at.”

“There is parking available before and after delivery on the street. Check in was easy and the friendly staff were helpful. Had an 11 pm appointment and arrived at 5pm. Was checked in at 8pm, at a door by 10 pm and parked on the street with my paperwork by 1230am. A+ would deliver again. Thank you!”

“Update 4/2024: teaberry ice cream no longer has hfcs in it, so that is good. The state of the disability carts continues to be atrocious. Nobody in management cares anymore.Update 9/2023: I'm actually irritated that they have been bugging me so hard to do another review just 3 months after the last one. They have stopped carrying a few things that I used to get regularly, and I am annoyed about it because now I have to special order them online. (Zevia soda for example). The state of handicap carts continues to decline. They prioritize snack foods over disability services.Update 6/2023: actually nothing much has changed since I last reviewed, but I wanted to let you guys know that this is confirmed.Update 9/2022: These are small peeves, but I bring them up because it's a far cry from how they were doing when they opened. It makes it seem like a lot of that attitude was for show, and more and more it has seemed like doing anything extra to assist disabled customers is apparently a bridge too far.1. They have moved the handicap carts out into the foyer where the plugs were not designed to handle that many. They're currently being carried by a fire Marshal-defying pastiche of low grade power cords being plugged into other power cords, into the one outlet on the wall out there. And it's all just a fire waiting to happen. They made way for some paper bags with donated goods and that's lovely, but that stuff can sit out in the foyer because it doesn't require a plug. Way to make disabled people feel like they're an afterthought.2. And along that same line, I took one of those electric carts out to my car to load my things. One of the staffers snuck up behind me, and was lurking, waiting for me to get done with my cart. It was pouring rain out. I'm in the handicap spot. Not for a single second did he offer to help load my car. It would be polite for any customer and when they first opened everyone did this. But now he just stood there in the rain and silently watched me load my own stuff. Unbelievable! Lo, how the mighty have fallen. In fact, I'm taking a star away from my rating because I've been complaining about this for years and the managers do not care.Update 4/2022: they're doing pretty well now.Issues: Some of the staff has decreased their maintenance of the disability carts, though. And they often put food displays or other nonsense in front of them, which I have brought up to staff a bazillion times and they honestly don't really seem to care.Overall, however, things seem to be going pretty well.Old review (grand opening):It's a brand new store, and clearly Superior to other older stores of the same brand. They do have a few Growing Pains, but the majority of the time, the staff is proactively helpful and the quality of items offered is very good. I am hoping with a few Road bumps that get fixed that perhaps it can get 5 stars.”
