Today I made an exchange at the cottage. I was struggling with understanding the return and new purchase, because I also had a birthday credit mixed in with my original purchase. The person who waited on me and someone else who I believe might have been a manager were very helpful with explaining this to me and walking me through my refund. I appreciate their time and patience when I was feeling frustrated at not understanding. I have always enjoyed the products at the cottage and the people who work there.

A local gem! Always the perfect spot to run in and grab a gift of something fun for your wardrobe or home. Our holidays would not be complete without a slew of "The Cottage" bags under the tree. The staff is so helpful and kind and highly attentive. So many times they remember items that I was on the hunt for and called me when they ordered and it arrived. They even offer permanent jewelry. If they don't carry something you are interested in, and it would be popular in the store, they will stock it for you. There is nothing like supporting a small business that goes above and beyond for their community. Special shout out to Courtney who has a mind like a steel trap and always saves the day!

A cute store with everything you didn't know you need or wanted, but also other things you use everyday. Very Annapolis and "Maryland" oriented. A high-end boutique store with great service. I was running late for a birthday party, and needed a last minute gift. I called ahead and asked if they had kids’ gifts. By the time I got to the store, they had picked out some amazing gifts for me to choose from (since I was crunched for time), a beautiful card, and even gift wrapped it all for me! Wonderful store and even better customer service!

Adorable boutique/shop! Perfect for gifts. Definitely pricey but can find some unique items. Great if you’re looking for things that are Maryland themed.

What a wonderful experience! I went into The Cottage for the first time Yesterday to Xmas shop for my 14 yr old daughter. I was greeted warmly by the young lady at the front counter. I asked to see earrings and she showed me all they had to offer. I ended up purchasing two pair, as well as two bracelets, a magnet and a Spongelle gift pack. The other associates were also pleasant. They boxed and gift bagged my purchases at checkout and sent me off with a smile. I will definitely return just because of the amazing customer service!

This is a great gift shop - always has been. Very unique selection of items and the staff has always been helpful. Sometimes I just stop in when I'm in the area whether I need anything or not, bc it's always fun to look around. Been coming in here for years and really appreciate having a unique independent shop when I need a gift for any occasion.

The teenagers they have working there gave me weird looks. I just went there because I had seen some of my friends wear cute stuff. I don’t understand why they’re working there if they don’t have proper customer service skills.

I love The Cottage! Not only do they have fabulous merchandise but I truly appreciate their customer service and careful attention to Covid precautions. I have never had a bad experience there - I feel appropriately attended to without being “smothered.” Thank you - I know these are difficult days to be in the retail business but I think you guys are doing a fabulous job!

I ordered some blankets here online from Florida and they got here SO fast! The product was beyond perfect. Also, the smallest little details make the biggest impact sometimes. The packaging was simple but pretty, they had some beautiful stickers on the packing and wrote a lovely little thank you note thanking me for my order. I think its the small things that really stand out sometimes, it gives it a lovely personal touch. I am BEYOND happy with my order. I will be online shopping here again :) Thank you all!
