I highly recommend using the Severna Park Veterinary Hospital for all your fur babies. As a new client, I was able to get a timely appointment for a very sick cat. Staff was knowledgeable and very compassionate concerning his care.
Happy with my experience, I shortly thereafter brought my other cat in for her physical, bloodwork, & vaccines. I plan to continue with this office for my future veterinary needs.

My dog had an accident at a dog boarder nearby and needed stitches and my normal vet wasn't able to see him that day. Severna Park Vet was able to fit him in within a couple hours of the incident and gave him great treatment. Thanks for taking care of Shadow!

Dr Heard and her staff could not have been any more caring when our cat died. They went to extra lengths to ensure that the experience was compassionate for both of my children and for our Wylie. I thought the paw print they gave us to remember him by was a nice touch. I think very highly of the whole staff!

I have used this practice for 15+ years. Everyone from the front desk to the techs and the vets are caring and go out of their way to make visits easy. From routine new puppy appointments to helping with difficult decisions later in life with older pets, their kindness and compassion is invaluable.They never make you feel like your worries and concerns are not important. We love Severna Park Veterinary Hospital.

I have been taking my cats to SPVH for more than two decades and they could not be more wonderful. The staff are clearly dedicated. They are very friendly and easy to interact with and don’t rush you which is so important when your pets are not well. I recommend them 150% and feel very lucky to have found this great group of vets and their staff. They feel like family.

This is the BEST veterinary hospital hands down! My dog was sick and they saw her on the same day even though I was a new patient. The doctor was amazing at his job and I now have a happy puppy!

After a long few hours of struggling with a popped tired our 3 month old dachshund started coughing and foaming blood. Unsure of it being parvo, pancreatic issues or any of the other possibilities the staff took very well care of our fur baby. In the end they solved the puzzle of pneumonia. And that’s not even the cherry on top. Through those hours of working towards the solution not once did we get any rude comments, glares or blank stares as we constantly blurted out over and over that we had no clue on how we were to cover our expenses ( mind you we live in North Carolina and were trying to get back home ) as we were getting ready to leave, they brought in our fur baby wrapped all cozy in a blanket and told us not to worry about a penny, which ultimately brought tears to our eyes.
I’ve never once liked vets, I’ve had far too many snobby remarks, rude glares and people who just don’t understand, but I would be more than happy to drive 5 1/2 hours to have my pet seen by them emergency or no emergency.

Dr. Storm was so wonderful with my cat- him and I are nervous at the vet and she was calm and caring for us both (lol). She addressed everything I had brought him in for swiftly and in ways that make sense for a pet parent to understand— and jotted down any other minor concerns I had. She made me feel very assured and with her, I know my cat is in great hands!!
