My dog Ramsey has been going here since he was 9 weeks old and all of the doctors here have given him compassionate, effective care. As a new puppy owner a year and a half ago, they helped me learn all the right things I should be giving/ doing for my dogs wellness and health! This place is also immaculate, has ample parking, and in a great area/building. I 10/10 would recommend this place to ANYONE looking for quality, quick, effective veterinary care. When I get my second dog, I will be for sure trying to get them in as a patient!

Dr. Storm is one of the worst doctors I've ever met. We trust these veterinarians with our dogs lives, and she failed us and she failed my dog. We brought him into the doctors on Wednesday after doing several test (costing $850) they said he had something stuck in his stomach and they were doing everything they could to get it out. They claimed they got the foreign object out and that he was going to be okay. Fast forwarding to Friday he was still in pain, losing his appetite and bloated so we took him back. Than she diagnosed him with pancreatitis after doing blood test ($200)She gave him two medicines and sent him home and said he would be fine. Over the next few days he got worse, wasn't eating, wasn't drinking,was in pain crying, could barley walk, and peeing himself. We rushed him the the emergency vet and had him admitted. After doing a blood test, the same blood test that Dr.Storm performed, they found that his liver was failing (liver count 1,400!) and that his calcium level was also very high, pointing to cancer. Dr.Storm never said anything of the sort. She misdiagnosed him not once, but twice. I will never recommend anyone to bring any pet there! She may not have caused him cancer but she caused him to have pain and suffering, cost us 1,000 of dollars, gave us false hope of our pup fully recovering, and most of all missed his diagnosis. I feel failed by her and failed by Severna Park Veterinary. It is now Wednesday and we have still not received a call asking how my dog is doing. Thank You for failing our family and my dog, we hope you lose your license.

I can't say enough good things about my experience with Severna Park Veterinary Hospital. I called them for the first time after being told by ten (yes, ten) other vets/ER vets including our normal vet of 7 years, that they wouldnt be able to see our pup who hadn't eaten in nearly 3 days and was having other very concerning symptoms. I left a voicemail with my name, information and had little hope that I'd receive a call back at all. Lo and behold, less than an hour later the office called me back and encouraged me to come in, they'd squeeze me in between appointments. I was so grateful that my pupper would be seen! We hurried over and he was taken back, assessed and the vet (Dr. Schmidt) came out to explain his initial thoughts, treatment plan and anticipated costs before proceeding. I was prepared to simply be handed a bill after the visit, so I thought the fact that he provided a detailed estimate was really fantastic. I agreed to all (and was fully expecting to be asked to pay much more than the quote). The front desk staff (Diana, sp?), the vet techs, everyone was as kind and helpful as can be to us. I wish I remembered everyone's name for appropriate kudos. What started as a stressful and scary day ultimately turned into such a wonderful reminder that there are still people, and businesses, who truly will go out of their way for a stranger (or strange dog, ha!). Our pup is feeling MUCH better now all thanks to the team at Severna Park Veterinary Hospital. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Absolutely best clinic in the area! Everyone here is extremely friendly and professional. I appreciate that they are so patient and take all concerns seriously, and they are very realistic and honest about treatment options and plans. It is obvious they really care about your furry friend. Am really glad I found them!!

I have only worked here for 2 weeks but right away the entire staff welcomed me in with open arms and have been so kind and helpful and encouraging. I had forgotten what it felt like to be truly happy to be at work until I started here. not only are the prices fantastic, but the doctors, techs, receptionists, etc are fantastic as well! thank you Dr Heard and Alyssa (and the rest of the staff) for giving me this wonderful opportunity and being so welcoming! I truly feel at home here and am so excited to be here!

Been going here for years now. A simple visit can cost over $500 each time. Don't go if you don't have a giant chunk of money to spend. You'll get charged for EVERYTHING. We've shied from going many times because of how hefty the bill would be.

Dr. Heard and the entire staff at SP Veterinary Hospital have been wonderful for the care of all our animals. They were so caring and supportive as we said goodbye to our beloved Charlotte.

Dr. Heard is fantastic! It's not easy finding a vet that is comfortable with chickens and see not only saw us quickly but my chicken even had successful surgery. Staff is great as well. I highly recommend for any pet owner!

Highly recommend! Really nice office, friendly staff. Always answers all your questions and never kept waiting. I take both of my senior dogs there and get all my preventative meds through them. I even travel from Baltimore to go here!

We had a great first experience here for our pup in early 2020! Our vet, Dr. Reichenbach, was silly and really good with our dog. It is SO important to us that our vet is very personable with both us and our dog. We had a lot of shots to get done, but he did a great job with the exam and getting everything done without much attitude from our chocolate lab. We are looking forward to being customers here and the short trip to the office!

I have brought my pets here for years and will continue to do so. Dr. Heard runs her practice with both kindness and efficiency. They were quick to adjust their operations to accommodate social distancing during this time and it has worked superbly. Keep up the amazing work you do!

We love Severna Park Veterinary Hospital. They have been caring for our pets for over 30 years. Dr. Heard not only treats Sammy she calms my nerves as well. She truly understands how important Sammy is to his Mom. Everyone there gives us great care!! Thanks for the excellent Care. Love Sammy Lamb
