They over dosed my dog with librella and the doctor never came to tell me that it happened nor what could happen. The tech told me, but had no information about what could happen. I had to find the doctor and ask about side effects as NO ONE came to talk to me or advise me. I may have worked there, but I was also a paying client. This was discussed because I HAD to find someone to ask. If you harm my pet why do I have to hunt down a doctor to ask about what was wrongly done to my pet. The situation was handled poorly by Healing Paws. They also missed my pets enlarged heart and now he has passed due to his heart. I also asked for my pets records, filled out the form and to this day, NEVER got them. I will never recommend this place to anyone for anything.

We have been with Dr Key for over 10 years and love this office. They are so kind, patient and loving. Dr Key specializes in more natural methods of vet care and practices Chinese herbal medicine for dogs and cats. I'm so glad we found her and this team of veterinary staff. I drive about 30 minutes and it's 100% worth it.

Healing Paws has taken care of our fur family for years. All of the technicians are welcoming and kind, and the veterinarians are just the same. They have also helped us with end of life care when we needed and it was done with such dignity and care. They are great with our dog and she leaves just as happy as before she arrived - a priceless experience for us all. We made the best decision in choosing Healing Paws and we won't go anywhere else. If you're looking for a team to trust your furbabies with, this is the one!

DO NOT EVER GO HERE! I would give zero stars if I could. Healing paws? Yeah right. More like Deadly Paws. This was the worst vet experience of my life, which is incredibly disappointing as I was excited to find a holistic vet in the area with decent reviews. Where do I even start? The communication was poor from the beginning.
I moved here from Texas in early March with a 3-month-old puppy who had started his vaccines in Texas but needed to finish them here. At our first appointment, they gave him a rabies shot and instructed us to come back in a few weeks for the other shots he needed. We did, and he received the lepto shot. Following this, we were told MANY times that he was up to date on all his puppy vaccines, and his online records indicated the same—no other necessary vaccines until next year.
Fast forward to July when we try to put him in doggy daycare for the first time, and they inform us that our dog is not up to date on his bordetella vaccine. This was surprising since our vet told us many times he was up to date. I called the vet, frustrated because our dog had been pretty sick a few weeks prior (diarrhea for three weeks straight that not even a bland diet and probiotics helped), and they would tell me they would check in with me to see how he's doing and follow up with an action plan but never did. I expressed my frustrations about the lack of communication and testing/plan moving forward as our puppy was clearly not getting the nutrients he needed. He was still playful and in good spirits other than the diarrhea.
Regarding the bordetella shot, I called the vet and asked someone to explain why I had to find out from doggy daycare that my dog is not up to date on shots when they told us he was. Dr. Preston took ZERO accountability, which can be a serious matter, especially since he had such bad diarrhea (and threw up a few times), as this could have been Parvo. I told her I had to take my puppy to the emergency vet because his diarrhea was so bad and urgent. They were shocked our vet at Healing Paws had not tested for Parvo. Dr. Preston's response was, "Well, his records indicated he was up to date on bordetella, and being 7 months old now, if he were up to date on vaccines, it's virtually impossible for him to have it." I grew more frustrated and explained that I am not a vet and have no idea what shots are needed when, but a quick Google search of the Bordetella vaccine showed he was not up to date. It is a shot series, and he only had one shot in Texas and none since being at Healing Paws. Had Dr. Preston taken the time to look further into his records, she would have realized he was not up to date, even though she stated he was. She again took zero accountability and said, "Oh, well, someone must have entered the due date wrong in our system," and talked herself in circles as to why it wasn’t done, giving excuses about how rabies was needed first. This still doesn't explain why, four months later, he still didn't receive the booster shot, and your records were entered INCORRECTLY by your staff.
Fast forward to today, we were able to get him his bordetella booster for our LAST EVER visit to Healing Paws, as we switched vets immediately. I would never trust them with my dog again. Five days later, we brought him to doggy daycare for some socialization as the shot takes 72 hours to go into effect. He returned home showing signs of kennel cough a week later, which is prevented by the Bordetella vaccine. I blame Healing Paws for this, as I don't believe he would have been as susceptible to kennel cough had he gotten his boosters when he was a puppy as he should have.
We had a puppy we had to put down last year at one year old due to very aggressive bone cancer. Having my puppy sick like this with minimal effort or communication gave me a lot of PTSD from the incident with our previous dog. Completely unacceptable and disappointing that they shrugged this off like it w

I sought out acupuncture for my senior dog to help him overcome some side effects from a new medication. We were also exhausting pain management options for his severe arthritis. I figured if it didn't help, what could it hurt. I was amazed at his results and how much it truly made a difference mentally and physically for him. The thing that stood out the most to me is when one day I had to cancel an appointment last minute because my guy was sick. Shortly after I canceled, I received a personal message from Dr. Klickman checking in on him. I can't thank Dr. Klickman enough for her help and guidance during the last months of my guy's life. Everyone in the office is amazing!

The best vet I have found in a while. They are very knowledgeable and truly seem to care about the animals instead of just churning through customers as fast as possible.
