The entire staff at Alexander Animal Hospital is amazing. The care is exceptional. They listen to pet owners’/parents’ concerns and advocate for the well being of the pet. One of our frenchies was having some major issues with a skin infection vs focal seizures. They have been trialing different things, and helping the situation since it occurred. I called and asked if they could do something else to possibly help. They listened, got us in the next day, and pretty sure fixed the issue. It’s very easy to get an appointment, and they are reasonably priced, unlike other vets around town. I highly recommend Alexander Animal Hospital.

The way Eric Alexander speaks to customers (especially from behind a keyboard) is extremely unprofessional, and borderline disgusting. Take a look at the other recent reviews to see more examples of how he retaliates to any negative feedback - this guy thinks he's a gift from god.
Newsflash buddy - whether you like it or not, as with any small business you work in customer service first and foremost. People notice when you act like you are above them and everyone else, and they will talk about it. Drop the superiority complex and be better.
We used him once or twice and can now see why others have decided to seek care elsewhere. Thankfully we aren't in deeper than a few visits.
Edit: I haven't tried to insult you, I've only stated our experience; the fact you've interpreted our experience as an insult is extremely telling. You haven't found my record because it was my wife that you originally insulted. I truly hope for your own sake that you can become a kinder person.
Edit #2: The only thing you're showing by posting that transcript is reinforcing my statement about the way you speak to customers. You're just downright rude, a smart Alec. I guess "reasonable" to you is $25 for the 10 minutes (being very liberal here) to print out a piece of paper, or even easier send an email. So by your logic, you should be paying your employees $150/hr - maybe you're a better guy than I thought!

Dr. Alexander and Staff provide compassionate care for pets and pet owners. I have found thier approach to the care of aging animals to consider quality of life over excessive testing and interventions. We came from a vet that had our pet on far too many medications, and he felt much better after we reduced and took a more watchful waiting approach. For both of our older pets we found Dr. Alexander to give us clear advice about what things we should consider and what interventions were necessary and he helped our cats have a good last 5 years. We now take our one year old cats to this office and we have had good experiences there too. Lots of gentle attention to ease fears. The only reason it's not 5 stars is that I would like to see better cooperation with patients to help them save costs on food and medication by buying them through other services that do hime delivery.

WHAT A TOTAL LIE!!!!. You never talked to me about anything. How can you stand there and lie like that. We never discussed that at all. What I said was true. You looked at Henry and said, give him chicken and rice. Never checked his breathing. You should be ashamed of yourself making up stories like that to make you look good. I showed my wife what you said and she couldn't believe that. How you could post something like this and tell a lie is horrible. Don't worry about me I am fine, have a new dog but will never forget what you done and continue to spread the word. Don't worry about me, its you I am worried about. You might need the support group. Its hard to believe 23 months has going by and feel so empty. This should of never happened. I will never forget what Dr. Alexander did to my dog. You can take all these 5 stars reviews and throw them out the window. I know what he did to my dog. He has a lot to learn about the word caring, if he did Henry would still be here. I will never let you forget what you did to the day I die and will spread the word to every site I can find and every person. I will post this every month. The pain just won't go away. I look at his picture everyday and just cry. I walk around the house thinking about him all the time and looking at places where he should be. Today I gave away to Barcs, his beds, toys and other things. Something's I kept like his collar, scarf and the blanket he slept with for the last 14 years. It was so hard giving them away, but I know they are going somewhere where other dogs can use them. I feel so empty, like I lost a son. Only dog lovers would know this. If only he cared, Henry would still be here. Not knowing what happen is why I feel the way I do. Just a simple examination, things could of been different. I will never forget what he did to my dog. He has to live with this for the rest of his life. The way he runs his business he properly doesn't care. Everything is on a time schedule. Read other reviews. I have had many dogs and many vets. Usually I see Dr. Greenwood who is as compassionate as you can be. She has really been great with my dog in the last few months. The other day Henry was not feeling well and had trouble walking. Dr. Greenwood was not there so I saw Dr. Alexander. Showed no feeling at all, like I was a number. Everything was like rush rush rush. Some of the Yelp comments said the same thing. He never takes the time to listen to you explaining what is wrong. I told him everything what was going on and he said you are taking the right medicines, open up the door and started to walk out, I had to say, is that it? He didn't even check his breathing which was bad. I told him he is not eating and he said give him chicken and rice. No kind of examination at all. Got home my friend noticed that Henrys foot was swelled, why didn't he notice that. That could of been some kind of fluid which is bad. If he took some time he would have seen that. He could learn a lot from Dr. Greenwoods manner. Would never go back to him..... Henry passed away the next day, maybe if he cared more he would still be here...... The other day we got his ashes with his name on the box, Henry Cooper. We will never forget what you did. NEVER. Just a note, the girls who work in his office are great and very helpful and seem to care a lot more than him.

These folks really do care for animals. Unfortunately, we had to put our kitty down. The entire staff was both empathetic and compassionate.

I previously took my dog to Alexander Veterinary Hospital as a regular “ patient.” I had a circumstance happen that my dog needed to get in to see the dr but they did not have an opening for almost 2 weeks. So I called my nieces vet and they were able to see her much sooner. Since I had taken her to another vet Dr. Alexander refused to see my dog anymore. Which I honestly was quite surprised and disappointed.I called their office to obtain the name of the Omega Benefit service provider so that I could continue my dogs doses and they would not provide me their information.I would not recommend taking your pet to this Veterinary Hospital, I am very disappointed and rather displeased with how this office handled the entire situation.

DO NOT TAKE THE PETS YOU LOVE HERE!this office has went downhill post covid. I understand that everywhere is short staffed but this does not explain the mistreatment and misdiagnoses on my 13 year old dog. They even hung up on me when I was trying to find out about a $300 test that I had to retake due to their mistake. I am SO happy I switched to another local vet because if I did not switch she would have DIED! I now have regrets staying here as long as I did with my other dog because they told me I had to put her down. Was there other options? AVOID!!!!!!!!
