  I brought my older dog to Ashley when he started to demonstrate aggressive behaviors. I had talked to several other trainers who advised me based on his age and the severity of his behavior that I should consider putting him down. Ashley told me that of course she could not promise anything but that she would do her best and if I put in the work (training is as much for the owners as the dog) then she was confident that the issues could be resolved. I worked with Limitless Canines for months and it is like he is a totally new dog. Ashley was right it was not an overnight change and there was a lot of work involved, but she and her staff supported me every step of the way and now Sirius is doing great. Since completing the training we have not had any issues. Thank you Ashley and Shaun for giving me back my sweet boy.If you have a dog with behavioral issues then this is the team you want to work with.

  Ashley and company have been great to work with. This is a check your ego at the door kind of business where you have to relearn what you know about dogs and how to be a good owner. If you follow the directions given and put in the time and effort you will see the results you want in your dog. They say they're training dogs by training humans and it's the truth. Our dogs take their lead from what we do and what we allow. My dog is at too smart for his own good and stubborn as anything, but learning how to manage myself and the way I act around him, we have made a ton of progress as a unit. The Limitless Canine Crew give you all the tools you need to be successful. I'll be using them to train every dog I own from here on out.

  While extremely overpriced, I imagine that the Limitless Canine system works for some dogs, but if you have a dog with aggression issues or is a battle breed (ex. Rottweiler)- I would immediately look for alternatives.This is a training system. It is not training. We brought our dog to limitless canines with dog aggression issues. We paid $4800 and left with a dog that was not only dog aggressive, but also people aggressive. In fact, our dog was most aggressive with our trainer. We have children. This caused us to have to have a very serious conversation- "do we get rid of our dog". Thank goodness we found Braveheart Kennel for less than 50% of the cost. They corrected the "people aggressive" behavior and got our dog on the path toward comfort with dogs as well.In retrospect there were red flags that I really should have caught at Limitless Canine.

  We came to Limitless because our two male corgis (5 and 7 years old) were incredibly reactive in public, unable to travel in the car and frequently aggressive with each other. Shaun and Ashley taught us so much about giving our dogs the boundaries, attention and stimulation they need. Now, we can take our boys absolutely anywhere. They went from the worst dogs in our neighborhood to some of the best. I will be forever grateful to Limitless Canine team.This program is well worth the money and hard work. Thank you, Shaun and Ashley, for changing our lives.

  I can’t say enough great things about Ashley and her staff! When we came to limitless with our dog we were at our whits end! Our sweet dog started having more and more behavioral issues in the last few years after we added the additions of cats into our home. The team here has worked with us weekly to make this situation better and WOW what a change we have seen! I won’t say it was easy (our dog being six and all) but it has been worth it for the results we have seen in our dog and home life! 10/10 would recommend this place and this team!

  We've been going to Limitless Canines for a few weeks now,! First and for most the staff is AMAZING. They're amazing with us and our dog. We've all (My wife, myself, and my dog Kiba) Have all already learned a lot, and are seeing lots of progress. I believe you have to be dedicated to the teachings to see results, and you'll get out what you put it. Can't recommend them enough!

  Ashley, our trainer actually trained us, which in turn, gave us the skills and confidence to work (train) with our Havanese. Yes, I said work! Be prepared to practice training techniques multiple (25-50) times per day. As we did, our confidence grew and the bond with our dog increased. The training is expensive, but at Limitless Canines you truly get what you pay for. The training center clean and fresh. Ashley always takes the time to answer all our questions (at times she can be very blunt) as well she gives great explanations behind why she trains like she does. As a bonus, Cory greets you at the door with a smile. Just in case you wondered....Kaci Mae loves all the staff!!!

  We took our rescued, 140 lb, Cane Corso named Roman to Limitless Canines to address issues we were having with dog aggression, stubbornness, and inability to groom him whatsoever. Shaun took in our issues, listened to us about what we wanted out of our dog/human relationship, and broke down every part of our relationship so we could build a new foundation from the ground up.The time and attention that Shaun devoted to us and Roman was spot on. We never felt like we didn't understand the exercises or the end goals when training. He also cares deeply about his clients and wants everyone to succeed. The program is also very focused on your specific issues and if you need more time or more guidance when teaching your dog something new, they are very willing to keep working you through it.I cannot recommend this company enough. If you love your dog, but don't always love their behavior, why suffer through it? Changing our relationship with our dog changed our lives. It can change yours too!

  I started noticing results on day 2. My dog was becoming more calm and paying attention to me. That was when I knew choosing Ashley and her team at limitless Canine was the best decision EVER!Training is made simple so both you and your dog understand the goals. We haven't even finished all of our classes yet and I am so happy with the progress. I am on my way to getting my dream dog that I can take anywhere and for that, I am so thankful!

  I came to Ashley in October 2020 because I wanted to get my dog, Winston, certified as a therapy dog and needed to acquire many obedience skills to pass the certification tests. Ashley and the whole team there are amazing!Ashley's training style is a total game changer. Not only did Winston learn all the skills he needed to pass his Canine Good Citizen and Therapy Dog Certification exams and is now a working therapy dog, but he transformed from a rescue puppy who had lived his first 6 month outside into a bombproof dog who is amazing in our home, and who we can take to outdoor dining and other establishments with confidence in his ability to behave!The skills she teaches are so important for general safety too! Our first time walking through the DC streets, an car quickly made an illegal left turn in front of us. Thankfully Winston was in a perfect heel and when I stopped very suddenly in the crosswalk, he auto-sat right beside me like he was trained to do. Had he been pulling on the leash out in front of me, he could have easily been hit, and it all happened too fast to have been able to pull him out of the way! Thankfully, he was trained to stop as soon as I stopped!If you are looking for dog training in the area for any reason, look no further!

  I cannot recommend Limitless Canines enough! They were able to help us work with our dog Roman and get his obedience to another level. I can’t wait to bring him places and actually get compliments on his behavior! If you’re looking for a trainer who doesn’t mess around, this is the one.

  Ashley has been helping me train my service dog Bailey since he was a young pup. I firmly believe there is no behavioral issue that she can't help with. She has taught him commands, helped him walk politely on a leash, made him stop reacting fearfully to other dogs, and adjusted her techniques as needed to my mobility issues. I literally recommend her to everyone.

  All of the above responses. Ashley and the whole team are great. I’ve done lots of different obedience classes throughout my life and their approach is different from any of the previous classes. I think their approach gets faster results.
