The Sam’s club cafe in Severn,MD has some serious issues. We were told on a Saturday night that they were all out of hot dogs at 5:00(dinner time) with no one in a long line being informed of this. Today,several weeks later on a Sunday afternoon at 3:30pm there was a 30+ minute wait on hot dogs and the employees quietly announced that they only had 7 pizzas remaining. Customers one by one were demanding refunds. This is unacceptable and must be a management problem.

Just got a membership and felt like a criminal walking out the door. Paid cash through a cashier and then walked through an iron facade and had my purchases rescanned by an employee after looking at my receipt. Won't be renewing my membership once expired.

The store was clean and well organized. I found the shelves to be stocked and the produce to be in decent condition. The major downside to this store is that it is small and feels very understaffed. I had to wait in a line of 15+ people for both the cafe and the main exit, that is too long.

Good evening, I was in your Severn Maryland location this afternoon. I was sitting near the hotdog location when I overheard an older white male gentleman berate a younger worker who I think accidentally pre wrapped up some hot dogs. She said she only worked there for 2 weeks and the venom this Regional manager used on this your woman was horrible. He actually said "do you know who I am" If this is how regional management treats its staff I will be canceling my membership.
I wish I caught the mans name but it was an older white male regional manager who was in the store on his day off.
This man should be held to a higher standard if he is management.

So today,I walk in with my GREEN card - " Oh you can't come in here, you don't have .blank membership. It costs twice as much that why they shop first." I tell her that I have never had a higher membership and always shop at this hour. What she should have said " I'm sorry, only blank membership can shop from blank to blank, would you like to upgrade today?" Member for 15yrs, always an early morning shopper. Train your associates ro speak better to customers. I saw several people walk in without even lift ingredients their card to be seen. She didn't stop them and refused to allow me to speak with a manager

This review is directed to the Sam's Club management as a whole and not my experience shopping at the store itself.
Two days ago, I ordered tires for my F-150 and chose the Sam's Club in Severn as the location for delivery and installation. The ordering process is straight forward, I got what I believe is a great deal on the tires and they were delivered to the store ahead of schedule by two days. On this part, Sam's corporate exceeded my expectation and gets five stars.
So I get the email on Tuesday (today) that my tires have arrived early and I check the store's website and see they open at 10am. I call at 10am, select option 3 to get the tire and battery center in the store and no one answers the phone. The phone times out twice and twice I'm redirected to "customer service" who promptly sends me back to the wait list at the tire and battery shop for someone to answer the phone. I finally get through to the tire and battery shop and then get placed on hold for 10 minutes so figuring they've forgotten to answer the phone, I hang up and try again. This time when I call, I select option 0 to talk to customer service and immediately someone answers the phone and kindly offers to give my information to a manager to get tire and battery to call me back (that lady gets five stars). So I wait about 20 minutes and no one calls me back so I call Sam's again, this time asking to speak to management. The manager gets on the phone, I tell her who I am and what's going on and she realizes it's my note she's been holding to for the last 20 minutes supposedly to call me back and gets me through to the tire shop. It's now about 10:45am. I talk to a guy at the shop, tell him my tires came in early, ask for verification the tires have arrive and find out I need an appointment to get the tires installed. He says he has to call me back. After about a two hour wait, I get a call confirming the tires are in.
I'm simply amazed that Sam's Club can't do two things; answer the phone in a timely and professional (that means courteous and helpful) manner and get tires on a vehicle without an appointment. If I go to Goodyear or Tires Plus and buy tires, do you think they're going to sell them to me, run me endlessly around on the phone and then make me make an appointment to come back later for the install? The answer is no because they'd be out of business. I realize no one at Sam's Club corporate is going to read this and I also realize that no one at the store probably cares, but I care and to be truthful, they have really pissed me off.
On the upside, as soon as I got the call back that my tires were in, I dropped what I was doing at work and went over to see if they could slide me in this afternoon between appointments to get the tires on the truck. Jack in the tire shop was great - got me in and the whole thing took just a bit more than an hour. Thanks Jack! Perhaps you should be managing the rest of the club!

Came in for my prescription, 6/3 4pm. Immediately, the two managers on the front end dirty stared me from the time I walked in, to when I left like I stole something. Waiting for my prescriptions, as Belinda just stares like they're gonna call Asset protection. And Judy waiting at the register, eyeballing me for no reason. Everytime you come in, Belinda and Judy will stare in your soul. Don't work in customer service if you can't even have a fake smile, and especially don't be a racist.
