I checked a few other local shop’s and all were quick to quickly jump to a reman replacement trans. But the team over at Dorsey took the time to inspect the trans and found a repairable issue.

As soon as I first called and spoke to someone I knew I made the right choice bringing my 2005, G35 in for some issues. They were honest and knowledgeable. They already had an idea of what was causing my issues just from the symptoms.
They solved the issue, thoroughly tested operation after repairs, and were very friendly through the entire process.
If you have anxiety about finding someone new to work on your transmission. Give these guys a ring. I will absolutely be referring my friends and family.

Dorsey Transmission did a Great Job replacing my transmission for my work truck. They were fast with diagnosing the problem and solution to the problem. I highly recommend them if you having transmission issues. Will be using them in the future as they also do engine replacements.

This rating is long overdue, but I have always received great service from Dorsey Transmissions. They are so friendly and quick compared to other car shops I have been to. They are pricey, but please trust me when I say you will not have any additional problems once they are done. You can trust the quality of their service and know that you will not have to worry about wasting money. I wish I was closer to their shop so I can always take my car there to get work done.

I live 30 miles away from this repair center. 2PM and my car was overheating. I stopped in because the local Advance Auto recommended this repair place. I was informed this late in the day and being a small repair center it would be hard to look at and diagnose my issue by days end. They did have a full lot and phone was ringing the whole time I was there. I had no one that could get me by their closing time. The 2 guys in the front office stayed after business hours, several hours after closing to put a thermostat and belt on my vehicle. I firmly believe our Lord will bless these folks. Proverbs 19:17 – Whoever is kind to the poor lends to the LORD, and he will reward them for what they have done.*** *****

My car was not changing gears properly. I drove it to the shop before business hours. I later learned that they do not accept my extended warranty and had to get it towed to another shop. It was drivable, but I knew the transmission was about to go at any moment so I had it towed. The car was diagnosed with transmission issues. They answered all of my questions. I didn’t feeling like I was being rushed off the phone or in person. The customer service at this place was amazing from start to finish. I really wish they took my extended warranty. I would definitely go back to have work done on my car. I will get the warranty they accept.

Was recommended to this shop and believe probably they are the best in town. I will say the staff are very nice and professional. Here is my problem, after picking my truck up for a diagnostics my engine light is now on. My engine light was not on upon dropping my truck off nor has it ever been on since I have owned the truck. Now I have to spend money to get this resolved in addition to the issue I brought my truck in for. So now I am behind the eight ball for two issues now instead of one. I am extremely disappointed in the way this turned out!

I highly recommend Dorsey Transmissions for all your automotive needs. Rick and Jack are great dudes. Very knowledgeable and professional. They did an air suspension conversion on my Dodge RAM 1500. I'm very pleased with the results and it didn't costs me an arm and a leg!

Dorsey installed a Jasper engine in my F150 quickly and efficiently. Jack and Rick are the best. They even came in $365 less than the estimate! I recommend them highly and will continue to do business with them.

I would absolutely recommend this shop for transmission work. After taking my car to two other shops and not feeling confident with them I was referred to Dorsey and from the moment I spoke to them on the phone I felt at ease. Jack and Rick were upfront and honest with me and explained things in a way I could understand them. They are quick to respond and easy to work with. They replaced my transmission very quickly and it's running so smoothly. They will be my first call when/if I need service on my car again.
