My husband and I hired this team to move us from Hyattsville to SW, Washington DC. I cannot recommend them highly enough. Their work ethic, professionalism, team communication, project management, and problem-solving approach were all outstanding. These gentleman understand they're in your home, moving your life possessions, at a moment of transition. They respect you, your home, and your things. Fast, accurate, and friendly. Complex disassembly and assembly was required. No problem there, either! Can't recommend highly enough.

I had a great experience with Inner City Movers. I called for a last minute move and the coordinator Andrew was very professional and knowledgable gathering all of the necesaary details to schedule my move for the next day. The day of the move it self Aaron and Bird were great! They gave me a call ahead of time to let me know that there was a delay beyond their control at the previous job site and they would be about 30 minutes late. They showed up at the new time they gave me and went right to work. Aaron and Bird were extremely professional and careful while disassembling and transporting my furniture to the storage unit. I would definitely recommend Inner City Movers to anyone in the area. I was extremely satisfied with the service I received especially for the orice I was charged!

Andrew, Angelo,Ro showed up assess the move went and got what they needed to start the move showed me my start time. These young men knocking it out, very well mannered and respectful of me and my things. They made sure I was satisfied with the way things was setup in my storage, I will request them again when I move. ❤️

Please keep going to other moving companies. My Husband booked over 30 days ago. No call or follow up after deposit was made. Called and person couldn’t remember we made a deposit. We received a so called contract for service movers was scheduled 9:30/10:00 shows up 11:20a and then stated their boss said they couldn’t continue the job due to my husbands pool table. Unprofessional, they also rented a U Haul to complete the job for 4 bedroom house. They really messed my move up today. I try to patronize my brothers/sisters but no more and had the nerve to charge $190 per hour and mileage no penalty or consideration for people. Driver messed my grass up by not knowing how to drive on a hill. I’m sick right now!!!! SMH

Was interested due to the positive reviews and wanted to support business but letting the public know this is a SCAM. These reviews must be fake this is not a professional moving company. Left items uncovered to get dirty or damaged. Will have to discard pieces. Walls damaged. security had to be fixed because they damaged. Services ended up being free due to seen damage but once unloaded more damage seen. had to rent trailer for items but discovered during unpacking that space was left where items could have been placed. trailer cost more money and gas for no reason. furniture screws loosenEd (some for no apparent reason) and cannot reach anyone on the team or management to find where they placed screws to reassemble. Will be reporting to any available outlet.

Exceptional service from Andrew, Dom and Bird! They communicated their arrival time and were efficient with moving my personal materials. They were super helpful with making everything was properly taken down and built back up in a timely fashion

Amazing, responsive, efficient, friendly, reasonable, all the WOW words apply to these fantastic movers. Moving is inherently awful; yet with Inner City it was almost bearable. Thank you Rich, Drew, Daion, Dominique - what a day.

I was looking for a quality Black-owned Movers. I hit the jackpot with this company! The owner Arnold quickly confirmed my reservation. With a 3 bedroom townhouse I worked with Maurice Dominique and Reggie. They took great care with wrapping transporting and placing all my belongings. They even helped with the little things like removing light bulbs and putting aside my donation items. I highly recommend Inner City Movers. Wish I could give them 10 stars.

Andrew, Sumo, and Reggie were absolutely amazing. They took great care of my stuff and were fun to work with. They provided all the supplies need to wrap my stuff, and they have no hidden fees. Scheduling was also a breeze. I will definitely call these guys for all my future moves!

I hired Inner City Movers for a whole-home packing & moving service in Alexandria, and from my initial call to job completion they were responsive, professional, and a delight to work with. Scheduling with Rich was a breeze, and he was very communicative, prepping me with everything I needed to know for my first professional move. Day-of I had the absolute best team in Andrew, Reggie, and Domo! It was a huge job and a very long day, but they were positive & efficient, worked so hard until the very end, and were honestly just so lovely to work with. Hopefully I won't be moving again anytime soon, but if I do, I'll definitely be calling Inner City Movers to help!

I must tell you how thoroughly pleased I am with this move process and how smooth things went. I mean from the phone call I made to schedule the move,until the movers left, I was very happy with the process. I was pretty stressed about moving day and when I tell you how quickly this team moved to get the job completed.... I was amazed. I hope I don't have to move too many more times but if and when I do, I will absolutely be going with Inner City Movers! HUGE shout out to Rich, who worked with me to schedule the move, ultra helpful and professional, and also HUGE shout out to my movers Rommel, Phil, and Chris!!! These guys are major professionals and don't play around. I felt so bad having them take my heavy (assembled) treadmill down 3 flights of stairs, but they managed amazingly!
