Incredible service from start to finish. Link was our consultant and was upfront and honest with the process. Crew arrived promptly on moving day and were the most professional gentlemen to work with. Everything loaded quickly and efficiently along with the off load. This is the second time we have used them and will do so again if the need comes up.

I was initially reasonably pleased with my Von Paris move, but as I now review the experience I struggle to recommend them overall. The virtual estimate appointment was easy, although unfortunately I didn’t receive the estimate in a timely manner as the estimator overlooked emailing out my quote. When eventually received, however, the price was good and there was no impact on my move date, so I elected to book.
I had to alter my original move date after it was first booked, but this change didn’t make it into the schedule - so I had some fraught phone calls the night before to determine if I was actually being loaded the next day.
Loading went reasonably smoothly - although there was damage to some wall hardware that was not part of the moving inventory (and so was denied on insurance claim).
Unloading was also relatively trouble free, with the exception of one moment when a series of plastic totes were stacked and then pushed unsupervised down the unloading ramp without due care. A handful of vintage (and irreplaceable) decor items were damaged. I did raise a complaint at the time to the responsible individual and a second team member; however, as I had packed these totes myself, a damage claim was again denied - my word against theirs on the lack of care, I guess. A ‘goodwill gesture’ of less than the value of the items did not feel much like real goodwill, sadly.
To their credit, that moment aside, the team were friendly, efficient, and easy to deal with on an extremely warm couple of days. I did also see a price adjustment (downwards) from my ‘day of’ cost as less packing materials were utilized then estimated, which I appreciated. However, between missing my scheduling and denying claims resulting from a moment of negligence, I find it hard to recommend overall.

The entire moving experience was superior. From scheduling and booking and communication from the company, through timeliness and efficiency and professionalism of both packing and unpacking. All of the people involved were wonderful. I would never use anyone else

The personnel (office, packers, and movers) were very professional, personal, helpful, understanding, efficient, and timely. They worked very fast, asked questions to make sure they were doing what we wanted/needed, and they worked to ensure that the move was as trouble-free as possible.

I was extremely disappointed with the service we received from Von Paris during our move. Due to the price and time quoted for a complete move, we only used them for packing and loading of a UHaul. The packers showed up on time and started packing. They got to a point that they were “almost done” and left early on day 1. Day 2 they arrived on time and started packing and loading. The packing was not “almost done.” We had expected to leave around 1-2pm for our move. They finished at 5pm which caused us major traffic issues. We were also told they would make everything fit on the truck we had rented, but they did not. I had to make a second trip using a rental van to complete the move. Once we arrived at our new house (out of state) we saw more disappointment from their efforts. During loading our grill was broken which is impressive in its own right. Several boxes were also crushed. When we began to unpack we found that many boxes were mixed up from multiple rooms and not marked. This made unpacking a painful experience. When we contacted Von Paris with our complaints and request for resolution of broken items, we were ignored. Maybe if you move locally you could get better customer service. For us out of state we were simply ignored. Considering the cost, I am absolutely let down by their efforts and customer service. Use at your own risk.

We moved coast to coast with Von Paris, and they were outstanding! The moving teams were professional and did a great job wrapping all of our stuff up so it didn't break in transit. The office team, Deb-B and Angela, was great to work with and kept us up to date with everything.
It was one of our best moving experiences, and I couldn't recommend Von Paris enough!

We couldn't be more pleased with the job Von Paris did on our long distance move. Mark, Frank and the movers were excellent. We had quite a few last minute snags with the scheduling (on our end- not their fault) and Deb-b was just amazing. She did not give up until everything worked out perfectly for us!
