I’m writing to express my disappointment regarding the cancellation of my silk press appointment on the day of service, communicated via text message. No alternative options or another stylist were offered, which felt unprofessional. This was supposed to be my first experience with the ULTA salon, and it has unfortunately left a negative impression. I had booked this appointment in preparation for a work event I’m traveling to, making this situation even more stressful.

Ah, Ulta Beauty, the mystical land where my wife disappears for what she claims will be "just a few minutes" and emerges hours later, arms laden with bags that sparkle with the promise of eternal youth and beauty. As a man, my ventures into this emporium of enchantment are rare, but I have come to understand its power and allure. Thus, I present to you a four-star review, narrated with the awe and bewilderment of a husband on the periphery of the beauty world.Firstly, let us address the sheer magnitude of Ulta Beauty. To the untrained eye, it may seem like just a store, but to the initiated, it's a treasure trove that rivals Aladdin's cave. My wife enters its doors with the determination of a general going into battle, armed with coupons and a well-strategized plan of attack. I've seen her move through the aisles with a precision that suggests she's memorized the layout, or perhaps the store has cast some spell over her, guiding her to the latest palette or skincare elixir. The variety is staggering. From potions that promise to erase years off your face to elixirs that vow to imbue your hair with the shine of a thousand suns, Ulta has it all. I've watched, fascinated, as my wife picks up a bottle, inspects it like a jeweler assessing a diamond, and then, with a nod of approval, places it in her cart. The process is mesmerizing, a dance between her and the shelves of products that whisper sweet nothings of beauty and perfection.Let's not forget the staff, the guardians of this realm, who navigate the sea of cosmetics with the ease of seasoned sailors. They approach my wife with smiles, offering assistance and advice, speaking in a language of shades, tones, and brands that's as foreign to me as ancient Greek. Yet, they are the guides in this labyrinth of beauty, leading her to her desired treasures. And then, there's the salon and the Benefit brow bar, sanctuaries of pampering within the already hallowed halls of Ulta. My wife occasionally ventures into these for a touch-up, a trim, or a transformation, emerging each time as if reborn, a testament to the skilled hands of the Ulta stylists. In conclusion, Ulta Beauty is more than just a store to my wife; it's a haven, a place of discovery, and a source of joy. As for me, I've learned to appreciate the magic of Ulta through her eyes. It's where she finds not just beauty products but happiness, wrapped in the glossy packaging of the latest cosmetic innovations. I give Ulta four stars, deducting one only because it ensnares my wife in its enchanting grip for hours on end, leaving me to ponder the mysteries of beauty rituals and the eternal question: How many shades of lipstick does one truly need? But when I see the joy it brings her, I can't help but smile and think, perhaps, just one more.

I don't mind this store. The staff is friendly and they have alot of options and makeup, however if you want something specific on a regular basis, buy elsewhere. I have been in this location 3-4 times this year and The Matrix hair care section is always drastically understocked, so I'll be buying my shampoo elsewhere.

On Sunday. Jan 21st 2024 - My daughter and her friends were shopping in the store looking for a few things to buy with her birthday money. When one of her friends asked the general manager. A older white lady if they had something called Glow Recipe (skin care product) she stated “ No we don’t. But we have “such n such” but it’s $95. And I DON’T THINK YOU CAN AFFORD THAT!” They came over and told me. So I went and told her not to disrespect the kids because she didn’t know how much they could afford. In fact. She could afford it. She lied and kept saying she didn’t say it. But apologizes if they heard wrong. Honey there were a total of FIVE 10-11 year old girls who heard the same thing. That’s no misunderstanding . She LIED ! But that was only because she got called out in front of people. I will never go here again!

This is a big store with very little for women over 30. Just a bunch of garish looking make-up, fake nails, and fake hair. Like a regular local beauty store, except expensive and staffed with disinterested teens.
