I got a silk press + deep condition by K. Michelle a day before my graduation, and it was one of the best hair salon experiences I've had in my 22 years of life. I'm always wary about going to the hair salon for a silk press because I have a lot of hair. Sometimes it doesn't get pressed properly but here, I left feeling more than satisfied. It has almost been 2 weeks now and my silk press is still holding up (see photos)! Granted, I've been wrapping and avoiding humidity and water as much as possible but it's still so rare that a silk press will last this long in hot weather and still look this good. I'd certainly recommend this salon to anyone in the area. You can not only expect your hair to look great but an easy-going experience as Michelle is also personable and can carry a great conversation.
TL;DR K. Michelle did an amazing silk press and was friendly. I would 1000% recommend this hair salon.

Absolutely terrible service. I booked an appointment at 3pm and while I understand sometimes, you can behind 20-30 minutes, I was waiting for over an hour and a half and still was not even addressed. I had to ask when I’d be seen and it was going to be even longer. He also hung up on the phone on my mother. Rude, unprofessional, condescending, and a complete waste of my time. DO NOT COME HERE!!

My daughter scheduled a first time appointment at 3 pm and it was 4//30 and the owner never even attended to her bc he still had 3 other clients ahead of her. He didn’t even have the courtesy to tell her when she arrived that he was running extremely late and gave her the option to come back a little later or reschedule. When I called him back to ask for her deposit back he continued to give excuses as to why this was allowable at a black hair salon and then hung up the phone on me when I continued to give him my feedback.
Very unprofessional.

The experience at Rob Fooks Hair Salon is always phenomenal. The salon is clean, neat and it’s just a welcoming environment. Rob is very attentive to you making sure your comfortable and tooken care of! He never disappoints when it comes to a good hair style. I asked for a specific cut and I sent Rob a picture...and he cut and styled it exactly how the picture was. I am beyond a satisfied client!
