Service heVery nice the workers were pleased help me. And they seemed very happy there were flys in the restaurant about 2 or or 3. Decorations were nice. However the burrito i ordered tasted average but fell apart in my hand ending up in a big sloppy mess. The horchata was amazing i strongly recommend but the chips were overdone and the salsa was just red water. They also had a bar for topping that was nice. The food was ok but the drinks are amazing.

(Will be going again in a couple weeks for pic updates and more food ) The atmosphere was on the cooler side but the music warmed us as we danced at the site of the menu. Our waiter Karin was kind, she introduced herself warmly and even seemed like she was happy being here. She kept us informed of our meals that came out and was even on it with the drinks. (Sorry I just couldn't wait to eat ) 2 birria gorditas con consomé Crispy, meaty, flavorful, dipping it into the birroa oh my lawd just make sure you don't eat ya fingers!! 4 tacos birroa con consome Listen...first bite WITHOUT consume BURSTING with flavor the meat is just WITH just sit down and tell who ever ISNT driving, that they're driving now! Cause it's nap time babyyyy Nacho steak fries THICCC, cheeesy, you want an appetizer or a take home snack, this is your can def be your go to!! Took Flan to go, but my hungry self couldn't resist and DEEEmolished it in the car Kudos for having an amazing establishment from your chef down to the servers

To find authentic Mexican food all the way out here in Salisbury was a feat in itself. El Primo Taquireas looks and feels the part. There's a lot to like here: courteous and attentive staff, A spacious dining room with the Mexican colors splashed across the wall, and that menu! Tacos, gorditas, burritos, sopas, tortas, and even agua frescas. This is as authentic as a menu gets. And the price point? Incredibly affordable, which is a big deal in today's inflationary world. Unfortunately this is where the happy story is cut short. I ordered two of the more popular items on the menu, carne asada and Al pastor tacos. Also added a side of rice and beans. The flavors simply fell short. It honestly felt like not a single thing presented to me was seasoned. The steak featured in the carne asada, which I was most looking forward to, was quite chewy. Even the complimentary chips and dip were underwhelming. I've had some amazing Mexican food, especially of late. El Primo Taquireas is a decent choice for price and lack of Mexican options in the area, but a forgettable experience overall. Really a 2.5 but rounding up for benefit of the doubt.

I've been eating there since 2018 and I never ever had a bad order the food is always hot and fresh and the customer service is excellent I'm from nc and it remains me of home

This place is legit real deal great tasting Mexican food. My wife and I moved recently to this area from Texas and this is one of the best Mexican restaurants we have found. It is now our favorite. The staff are all very friendly and courteous with great service.

Terrible, they cannot even make an authentic Mexican sandwich. Don't advertise as Mexican cuisine if you are not cooking it authentic, but more Americanized! Clean up the place better and make sure the blinds, walls are cleaned before opening the restaurant again. The only decent thing was the horchata, but couldn't understand how the cinnamon and sugar were at the bottom of the drink. Never coming back.

Stopped in driving through salisbury and it did not disappoint! The food was delicious, the service was great and we didn't have to wait long at all. Will definitely have to come back.

If you know how lucky yall are to have this around in this earth, good... if not go get your head checked foo! My absolute favorite taco filling is saudero and I've not been so lucky finding it living back on the east coast. The salsa bar here to is something to be shouted a out and adored ( I wake up in cold sweats sometimes having a primal kinda need for this one old lady who had this salsa that was like dirt is consistency and flavor of the sun and gold and all things right in the world) they have that here too!!!!! Stumbling into this place after having to snag a unique color siding and driving here from Fredrick after being volentold by the office Not sure how often I'm going to be making this a regular kind of stop living in Virginia but I'll gladly make that 2/3 hour trip twice for this place

Great tasty authentic mexican restaurant. Wonderful service, clean, and spacious. Watched take-out traffic come in and out like a revolving door while dining in the restaurant. A hidden gem, worth checking out if you're in the area.

Prices are reasonable and it was a great spot to indulge in some birria Tacos. This was my first experience eating a Birria Taco. The service is attentive. There is a salad bar near the cash register, where you can pick onions, cilantro, cut radishes, cucumbers and sauces to fill your Taco. It was a generous offer and comes free with Taco orders. A lot of local people were there and it gave me confidence in the food and it seemed popular. The decor and seating is simple but sufficient for a quick meal.

Solo los tacos dorados estaban buenos y cuando mi hijo ya había comido en los refritos había un cabello, el menudo estaba horrible sabía amargo y aunque le eche sal, limón y pique eso no se arreglo.

Eyeball taco- check Tongue taco- check Brain taco- check Super delicious, it took a little while but the place was PACKED! I ordered to go, the salsa was spot on- everything was 10/10. I will always stop here when driving through to visit my husbands family!

Al pastor taco wasn't very flavorful at all. Chorizo taco was good, but nothing flashy. Will have to try this place again as I had higher expectations.

The food here is delicious! Small joint with a cozy small business vibe. Everything is great but I tried the Molcajete for the first time and WOW! It's full of refried black beans, a variety of meats from carne asada to chicken to shrimp. It comes with a small plate of rice. My only advice, eat this on an empty stomach.

Awesome food! There's nothing that I've had or anyone that I'm dining with hasn't enjoyed. The service is a hit or miss but the food makes it worth it.
