I was looking for a last minute Mother’s Day gift while in town for a wedding. Ms. Courtney was very customer friendly and not only helped picked out the gifts, but she helped wrap my gifts since I was out of town. Very nice store. Even better staff.

I was interested in several items, but the woman behind the counter was too engrossed in a conversation on the telephone to notice that I was there. She ignored me and several other patrons the entire time we were in the shop. It's really too bad; the store had lots of really adorable items that I would love to have purchased.

Love, love! This shop! Husband surprised me with a St. Michael's BD get away and we strolled down the quaint main street. I walked in, and my eyes immediately met a handgrafted butterfly dish! Collect butterflies, and this was perfect. Bought a beer opener that is ceramic and a beautiful piece looks elegant in our wet bar, and works better then a standard opener. I wish I had purchased more than one for Christmas gifts. We live outside of Laplata Southern MD. It is so refreshing with big box and Amazon to spend time in a real shop and actually have conversations. Although I wish we could buy more here online for Christmas gifts.

St. Michaels, our cherished second home (without the actual home), always has surprises in store for us, and "The Preppy Redneck" stands out as one of its shining gems!Each visit, I'm continually enamored by its eclectic blend of branded knick-knacks and geegaws, perfectly encapsulating the essence of St. Michaels and the charming Shore lifestyle.The Preppy Redneck is a place where rustic charm meets stylish flair!During our recent visit, I couldn't resist the variety of fun patterned socks, which are now my absolute favorites.Meanwhile, my wife was completely captivated by their unique and delightful range of earrings.But what truly enhanced our experience was the warm interaction with the exceptionally kind female staff member. Her genuine conversation and interest made us feel beyond valued. It's those personal touches that truly make small-town shops like this stand apart.For anyone wandering the streets of St. Michaels, I wholeheartedly recommend popping into The Preppy Redneck. Fun store with nice staff. My kids loved shopping here. They had a nice assortment of toys, jewelry and Knick knacks. My kiddos picked a small crab brick kit (knock off Lego bricks) to remember his trip crabbing and eating crabs; and, the little one picked a light up magnetic gyro spinner (remember those?!). Most reasonably priced stores of the bunch on the street.
