“Was great until I went to put my cart in the holder and got yelled at for connecting it into another cart that was apparently “two different carts” my bad. No more trying to help from me! ?”
“I stop in daily or at least 4 times a week to get what ever meat or seafood I need to use for dinner. There fresh rock fish has been really good the past few times I have had it they had farm raised but the fish is back in season. I also like their huge selection of liquor and wines.”
“Wonderful meat selections, produce too, stuffed ham awesome, soups are wonderful too. Pastry selections good. All-n all I highly recommend this grocery store; been serving Calvert County successfully for many a year!”

“Great mom and pops style store usually Willy is there owner of the store he runs the place he is very nice laid back kind of guy stop in grab some beer if you have kids he even has a small section of tinker toys they sell lotto tickets as well along with your basic stuff bread,milk,soda and so on what's really neat about this store is there is a small bar in the back and before corona virus not sure if he is doing it again yet but they had all you could eat FREE oysters on Friday evenings in the bar room very kool setup you could stop in Friday after work grab a beer and eat some free oysters again not sure if they started this back up again yet or not but it's easy to stop in and ask or make a phone call the store it is a family own and ran store they also sell fishing bait and some light tackle sense the store is shortly before Greenwell state Park you can even get your fishing and or hunting license there great small business love these kind of stores support your local businesses always”
“I use this grocery store every time I visit my parents in Lusby because of their customer service and their excellent seafood and meat department. So when it came time to plan my father's Celebration of Life event, I immediately thought of them, and I became even more impressed. Not only did Kenny in the Deli Dept and Michelle in the Bakery Dept help me plan what I would need, but they ensured all the platters were done to perfection. Great food and beautiful presentations made for an enjoyable feast at the event. I highly recommend Weis' party platters over a local caterer for the simplicity, ease, quality, affordability and again, exceptional customer service!”
“Only reason there's not 5 is their self checkouts are buggy. The produce department here is where I go when I don't have the farm stand. All winter long it stays fresh and looks great. Smaller but good looking meat department as well.”
“This store and employees are amazing! Since covid I've been doing pick-up and it's like family now. When you go in everyone says hi and is there to help. Deli, bakery, shoppers, cashiers, management and everyone else there does an excellent job???”
“We visited Flagship Cinemas - great local movie theatre! Excellent selection, prices (especially Super Tuesdays!), and staff. ONLY downside is no hotdogs at the concession stand.”
“What happened to the candy aisle? I guess we have outlawed most candy except for the kids to grab at checkout. Typical Safeway, nothing special was looking for a dinner option because I was visiting but unless it was a sandwich or sushi. Nothing jumped into my basket.”
“Fast in and out. Stock had been hit or miss with infant needs, but very good overall. In stock has greatly improved. Still fast service. Pick up is the easiest way to have a quick visit.”
“This is 1st time I have been to the Prince Frederick Giant. It's much bigger than the one in California, Maryland. I was very impressed with the store & with Customer Service for Pick-Up. I went into the store because I had forgotten to get some fruit. It was a beautiful display of various kinds of fruits & vegetables. The Chiquita Bananas are my favorite. I also got some nectarines but was sadly disappointed. I'll have to wait until the summer when they are in season. The Green seedless grapes are good. Next time I will try the variety pack with green & red grapes together. I enjoyed my grocery shopping experience at this store.”
