Disinterested in accounts under 10K. Our IRA has auto rmd’s and we are not allowed to deposit at our retired age of 96. We called this bank numerous times to so inform them. They still turned our account to the state of Maryland. Now we must spend forever on the phone to regain our money. And we now pay a penalty for early withdrawal. This bank claimed “lack of activity” as the reason for dumping our 30+ year account. What activity?? We did our auto annual withdrawal and we are not allowed any deposits. For 30+ years, all ok. Now they are merging with some company in VIRGINIA AND OUR MEASLY ACCOUNT NO LONGER MATTERS. BANK ANYWHERE ELSE!! Our attorney is filing a consumer complaint to regain the misplaced money and the unnecessary penalties.

I've been a loyal customer through Westview and Essex bank due to the exceptional services provided by Linda Belcastro and Justin Clews. Both are very knowledgeable and hekpful. You can tell they enjoy and value their jobs and in turn make customers like myself well feel like family.

I had a great experience with this bank, Assistant Branch Officer Linda Belcastro and Justin the teller today. I needed to obtain two bank checks in a small window of time and they were great about accommodating me. I was in and out the door within 5 minutes . . . incredible!
