My review is for the company, not this outlet. I have been renting cars from Zipcar for many years. Since coronavirus, the quality of the cars has deteriorated significantly. The last time I rented, the car had numerous warnings from the dashboard and should have been sent to repair a long time ago. I had to go so I took the car.Other cars I have rented recently have had mechanical problems and been dirty.

I came to this gym a few times pre-pandemic, and it seems some equipment has been removed? With all the Gold's that have closed, shouldn't there be more equipment, not less? For example, I'm pretty sure there was a third lat pull/cable station, but its no longer there. That stinks for a couple of reasons: 1) the lat pulls are very popular in every gym I've ever been to, 2) the third station also had the assisted pull-up machine. Of the two remaining lat pulls, one is a double attachment, but none of the lat pull bar attachments are the double kind. The incremental weights that you add on to the cable stations are also the wrong kind--they don't fit on the weight stack. When I need to use one, I have to sort of prop it diagonally on the weight stack, which seems kind of dangerous. Another gripe is the lack of 12 or 12.5 lb dumbbells. For women, increasing upper body weighted exercises by 5 lbs is a lot, and can make it difficult to achieve our fitness goals. Along with the removal of the assisted pull-up machine, it makes the gym seem a bit "not women-friendly" (I don't think it is intentional, but needs to be pointed out). There are no mirrors on the second floor! None! Also, the music is beyond awful. I thought Gold's just had one music channel, but I notice this location has way different music than what they play on the Gold's channel in Frederick. I mean, I don't need to hear Linkin Park or "Walk Like an Egyptian", but at least those have some pep to them. The music at this Gold's is sappy and depressing--nothing anyone would ever want to hear while working out. I don't mean to be so negative. I actually do like this gym; its just frustrating because it could easily be 4 or 5 stars with a few improvements.

Conveniently located gym that had a ton of equipment that serious weight lifters will appreciate. The facility is taking extra precautions during COVID to ensure cleanliness. Ample amount of free weights, cardio machines (even stair climbers!) and TVs. The only things that are missing (perhaps due to COVID) are mats and resistance bands. Free weights go up to at least 150 lbs. Unlike the previous reviews, I think the safe are great. They don't get in your way but are friendly and recognize regulars.

Stay away from Gold's Gym. Once you end your membership, they will continue to bill you.

I grew up in this area, but have not been local for a long time now. I was in town recently and wanted to check out a place to exercise so I decided on checking out this Gold's. I used a guest pass found online that gives you three days free to try the gym. When I came in the front desk staff seemed a bit confused with my pass. They got the assistant manager to help me and he was a real nice guy named Greg. He was helpful and asked me what I was looking to accomplish and looking for in a gym. His customer service was real good. The location itself is located in Rockville Town Square so parking can be an issue and I imagine this location can get crowded. The days I went were right after Christmas so it was never too busy. The mens locker room is pretty small, but does boast a sauna. When I got out onto the floor what really stood out was how old some of the equipment seemed and how run down the walls were. I am not sure if they charge an annual facility fee like so many gyms like to do now a days, but it doesn't seem like they are putting that money back into keeping things fresh and presentable. The gym has what you would expect from a Gold's Gym like a squat rack, benches, dumbbells, and cardio equipment, but some items are fairly worn. I didn't see any broken machines though. It is not the cleanest gym I have gone to either, but the bathrooms were clean enough and they did seem well stocked when I washed my hands. The price I was quoted for membership dues was $39 a month. This seemed pretty high for this gym in particular, but it did give me access to other locations which I am sure are larger. Additionally, if you look at other reviews they mention experiencing charges on their credit cards after they cancel and I had the same experience over seven years ago when I went to Gold's Gym. At this point I would expect them to get paperwork wrong and have to check my credit card statement continuously, so that also makes $39 a month seem a bit high.I am not sure what gyms in this area are good, but I am not sold on this Gold's location.

There thieves plain and simple. Will overbill and claim to cancel your account. But continue to drain your account. Worse customer service ever.

Been a member at golds for 2 years now and had a business trip here for two weeks. They wouldn't honor my Gold's travel pass and tried to charge me 45 dollar per week when in town.

Nice gym, LOVE my trainer and group classes but the people who use this gym are just inconsiderate lazy asses. More often than not, after use the weights are left on the equipments unrack.

This is a fairly decent gym in a convenient location for me. Their machines and equipment are kept clean and functioning (didn't see any "out of order" or "need maintenance"). Nothing that is really state-of-the-art but has pretty much everything you need.I like the equipment here slightly better than the other Golds gym location a few blocks down Rockville Pike.Gym validates for 2 hour free parking so you have to get your workout done within that time, otherwise I think the town center garages charge maybe $2 for up to an addition 1-2 hours.

Unresponsive customer service and fraudulent charges worth 3 months of their membership. When I just moved to Rockville, I was looking for a gym and decided to give a try to this branch because of their '30 Day Guarantee' policy ( well, it turned out to be a big mistake. After a month, I decided to cancel the membership. The manager seemed nice and promised to take care of everything. However, soon after my cancelation, I noticed several new charges on my credit card from Gold's that didn't even corresponded to the membership fees. I disputed everything, talked with the manager and was assured that it was merely some glitch in their system, and that I did not owe anything to Gold's.Everything was fine, but at some point I started receiving automated emails and calls from Gold's stating that I owe money to this branch and threatening to take 'further actions' if I do not pay. I brought this issue up to the manager and was assured that I did not owe anything and it was just a mistake. Now, several months after terminating the contract, I started receiving the same messages again. This time however, I also received a call from a debt collection agency on behalf of the Gold's claiming charges worth 3 months of their membership!!! On top of that, the branch stoped answering my emails. This is absolutely outrageous and unprofessional. It's a shame that such an established chain allows such behavior in their branches.

Great place to workout, pretty decent equipment but no dedicated powerlifting equipment. Staff generally are pretty friendly while others aren't too bright. Only complaint is the 2 hour parking for the parking garage. Wish they could validate parking for members for at least 3 hours!!
